Product Overview

Based on feedback from Tour Pros, the game’s best-selling fairways woods have been re-energized. The most significant upgrade is the addition of the Modified X-Sole Design featured in X Hybrids. A slightly larger head size offers more stability and the slightly deeper face offers a larger effective hitting area.

Comments about Callaway Golf X Fairway Woods (2008):

I have not been able to play much because of the rainy weather. I've played with the clubs only three times but I have hit the 3 wood better than the others I have tried. I really like the 5 wood because it has a wonderful feel. My favorite is the 7 wood that I bought first in the X series. I am having trouble with the X driver. I have a tail on it each time I hit it and I am not hitting it very far, which disappoints me. Once the weather improves and I am able to practice I believe things will get even better.

Comments about Callaway Golf X Fairway Woods (2008):

I bought this with the same shaft as my strong 3 metal. The shaft was tip trimmed differently (longer tip, less trimmed from it, and shorter on top) so the flex is slightly different which was not what I expected. Even with that, the club performed well.

I have an x 5 wood and an x 3 wood. Purchased in 2009. I'm considering ordering a 7 wood but all I see offered are 2008 models. My question is was there a 2009 model?
