Purchased these in the fall of 2011. I went to a very good retailer with an outdoor range/training facility and planned to spend a good amount of time with an open mind for the right set of clubs. I eventually made my way into the Diablo Forged Irons and couldn't believe how incredible they felt and how easily I could create shots. I was totally suprised as I have never really been a fan of Callaway clubs. The price made me put them back a couple times through that afternoon, but as soon as I would swing something else that felt good, I would go back and swing the Callaways again, and they would always feel considerably better. In the end, I made the decision to purchase the Forged Diablos, and had them custom fitted, which I never had done before. I spent the rest of the fall playing with the new irons, and now the spring, and felt compelled to share my experience on Callaways site. My handicap has decreased 3 strokes, and I am playing the best golf of my life. You can always argue that improvement comes from the person, not the tools, but I can honestly say these clubs give me feeling and confidence to actually go and make shots that help me play the game of golf better. I hit the ball farther, my draws are high and under control, and I can hit a slight fade that lands soft. This spring I have now converted to Callaways Razr Fit Driver and 3 Wood, and I even put a Diablo Tour Hybrid in my bag. You could say I have become a Callaway convert. Last week I shot 4 over par on my home course, which is the best 18 holes I have ever played. I have never felt more in control of a whole round of golf. Thank you Callaway for the great technology...it has made me a better and happier golf enthusiast. I am currently trending to a USGA 8 handicap. That is the best result of taking the time to find these fantastic clubs. Don't let the higher price scare you...they are worth every penny.

I bought these based on another's comment about having Titleist 981, than X20 and how the Diablo Forged provide the feel and workablility of 981 with the forgiveness on the X20. I had 981 and X20 now I have the Diablo Forged. The aforementioned comments are spot on. These clubs are AWESOME.
The feel is fantastic. you feel the ball on the club face as you cut across the face as you work the ball. These clubs allow you to become a better golfer.

these irons have all of the characteristics of forged irons, Except, they still have that "forgivness" factor to them. The design, i believe, is flawless. The setup is great,with a low leading edge and thinner topline,however if you like larger heads, you may want to experiment before you buy. Looks, feel, accuracy, Awesome Job Callaway!!!

This is the 3rd time I've owned Diablo Forged irons, and all I can say is there is a reason I keep coming back! These are the sweetest feeling, best irons I've ever played. They are literally point and shoot - I am extremely satisfied with the playability even though I have a high handicap. And of course, buying from Callaway Pre-Owned is always a top notch experience! Thanks and Callaway forever!

This is a wonderful set of irons. Nice top line and a generous cavity make them attractive and easy to hit. A great combination of forgiveness and feel. The only negitive is the gap between the pitching wedge (45 degrees), gap wedge(51 degrees), and sand wedge (56 degrees) is too great.

These club have an amazing feel to them. When you find the sweet spot, the ball just jumps with great feed back.
Played two rounds and had better control. The short irons were the best with pin point control,spin and height.
Forged vs Cast?? I like the feel of forged.

I play 3 time a week and enjoy most days. I know the clubs are very good, therfore I need to play better. Maybe I should also buy a new putter.

Rated 4 out of 5 by SDK High ball flight, plenty of length
Great trajectory, long length. Feel great when you hit it flush. Not so good off the toe. These clubs replaced my Mizuno MX 23's. The Mizuno's felt better overall but the Diablo's hit the ball higher and further, in general about one club length. Good shots are rewarded with a nice feel and a straight ball flight.
