Product Overview

After years of development and testing, Callaway Golf offers a solution for the millions of golfers that dread long iron shots. The new Big Bertha Heavenwood Hybrids are the perfect alternative for golfers of all ability levels that struggle to hit 1-, 2-, 3-, 4- and 5-irons well on a consistent basis. These revolutionary hybrid clubs provide all the performance of long irons, and all the forgiveness of fairway woods. An elongated, narrow face profile creates an extremely low Center of Gravity to get the ball airborne quickly and easily while the modified War Bird sole design helps promote solid contact from the fairway, rough or sand. The new Big Bertha Heavenwood Hybrids: never fear a long iron shot again.

Comments about Callaway Golf Big Bertha Heavenwood Hybrids:

Heavenwood hybrids are my go-to clubs for second shots on par 5s. I'm not a particularly long driver and an erratic fairway wood player. I trust these hybrids to get the ball up in the air and far enough to leave a short to mid iron for my approach. I do have to remind myself to hit them like irons, i.e., down on the ball instead of sweeping, and to let the club head do the work.

Comments about Callaway Golf Big Bertha Heavenwood Hybrids:

Used a borrowed 4H Heavenwood to play an Irish Links course (Ballyliffen). Never had a club more perfect for this challenge. Came home and bought the 1H, 2H, 3H, and 4H for my own set. Best clubs I ever played with. Sorry they are not made any more. If long irons and even longer woods give you problems, get a set of these Heavenwoods for the game of your life.

I do love the heavenwoods I now have so I am looking for more to leave up north. I saw a 3 (womens)that said average condition but when I went back to order it, it was not there. What is the difference between the ADALIA shaft and the Uniflex shaft?

Hi Gale. Happy to answer this for you. The difference in these two shafts is that one is graphite (Aldila) and one is steel (uniflex). I agree with you on the Heavenwood... My suggestion would be to keep checking our pre-owned website for one to leave up north. We have upgraded this version since its inception. Let me know if there is anything else I can do for you. You can email me at ryan.pontius@callawaygolf.com.

                      • A:

aldila is graphite shaft - my experience is most aldila tend to hit the ball lower than normal and definitely lower than callaway graphite of same flex.

uniflex is callaway steel shaft - it is supposed to be "regular" type flex but i have heard its a little stiffer. have not played with them or hit many clubs with it so do not have first hand knowledge re uniflex

The Heavenwood hybrids do not have any offset. The offset refers to the amount that the shaft is positioned in front of the face. The face angle of the hybrid will appear slightly closed at address, and the weight is distributed neutrally in the club head.
