    Features & Benefits

Callaway Big Bertha X-12 Irons feature a low center of gravity to help get the ball airborne. The Callaway Big Bertha irons include a variable 36-degree undercut channel that creates a thinner profile and gives optimal weighting for less drag and improved performance out of the rough, plus a larger effective hitting area. The Big Bertha X-12 Irons also incorporate S2H2 and Tru-Bore technologies for forgiveness and feel.

Excellent golf clubs When I turned 50, I purchased a set of Big Bertha X-12 irons with regular flex graphite shafts. Not being a high ball hitter, I wanted the chance to hit high, towering golf shots. The X-12 irons definately provided to me: High, towering golf shots. Superb full-swing feel. Perimeter weighting that saved many mis-hits. I did discover a downside to the X-12 irons: Can be difficult with greenside chipping. May not be able to work the ball with fades and draws. Definately recommend these excellent golf clubs to 10-20 handicap golfers. December 25, 2012
Callaway is the way to play I have a "Big Bertha" driver and I wanted a BB iron. This is much better than my old Wilson January 9, 2012
Best clubs ever !!! I've had all the new technology but I always go back to my X12's. In my opinion the best Callaway has made. March 9, 2012
Great clubs!!! These X-12s play like my old BB96s,but with better controllability. They were advertised as like-new,but their condition was perfect. I am totally satisfied with these clubs. February 26, 2014
As good as Callaway has made. The most forgiving club I've ever hit. My 14 year old X12s are as good as anything on the market today. If Callaway would come out with new X12s, they would sell. April 29, 2013
Great introduction to Callaway irons The X-12 irons are big and forgiving, perfect for beginning players seeking more consistent trajectory and ball flight. This was my first set of quality irons when I began playing regularly 8+ years ago. I was living in Austin, TX (where Callaway Golf Pre-owned is located) and they let me pick them up directly -- their customer service was just as great in person as it is on the phone or internet. I remember how dramatically my shots improved that same day when I took them out on the driving range -- those irons gave me the confidence to play a lot more golf. Since then I've had nothing but good experiences with new and used Callaway gear. If you or someone you know is a beginner looking to get more serious about their game, this is a highly playable and affordable set of irons. August 14, 2011
Consistently BETTER then expected I bought a used iron set and added a 4 and LW. I also bought some fairway woods and a hybrid. I selected the "average" rated Light graphite clubs. Each was better then I expected and the grips were perfect on each. I AM VERY SATISFIED and will continue to look here in the future. April 15, 2016
Average quality is still outstanding I bought these at "average" quality, and could not believe how nice they looked when they arrived. They were thoroughly cleaned, with new grips. They had some abrasions on the head of the club, of course, but they looked like they'd been used less than 10 times. I was extremely pleased with the condition they were in. The clubs themselves hit great for me. I feel myself swinging through the ball cleanly, with a good weight and balance to them. I'm extremely pleased with my purchase. May 14, 2015
