ERC II Drivers
Hard to Miss
I am a 6 handicap, and have been going through the Driver Drill.. My most recent was the Callaway XHot, and Taylormade RBZ.
I received club today and just had to bring it to the range and put to the test against my RBZ..
The Feel was amazing, the Forged Titanium Head made the compression of the ball Strike feel like nothing.. The distance was easily 20 yards longer if not more..
What I was hoping for this club provided, the smaller head I felt gave me more control and swing speed. The Forged Titanium Head is just SOLID..... and the balls fly off the face, even on slight mishits.
This club will be staying in my bag for a while for sure, unless Callaway goes back to a similar Club Head like this one that is Forged Titanium.
Thank You Callaway Preowned Purchased it for 47 dollars. The best money I've spent to help my Game...

Hit my longest drive ever!
Hit my longest drive ever with a 9.5, 367 yards, 2 witnesses, currently playing a 10.5, gave my 460cc driver to my nephew. Long and straight, if that's what you are looking for, GET ONE!

Very good club at a good price.
The smaller head size fits my eye.

When my swing is in tune this monster bombs!!! None of my playing partners ever gave me flack that this club is non-conforming to USGA guidelines until I got my swing back. Now they mumble. This driver launches balls and they roll for days. Hitting 330 yards into a par 4 and being less than 90 yards out makes life so much easier. This driver sounds great as well. Considering the amount of time since this driver has been produced you can find one at a steal of a price. One of my favorite Callaway drivers ever!!!

Bigger isn't always better
I have owned 2 of these ERC's and I love them. I prefer the ERC over the newer drivers on the market today mainly because of the smaller head. I feel that that the drivers as of late are too big, too many cc's. I just don't get the same accuracy out of the bigger heads as I do with the ERC. If you are on the fence, give this one a try, I feel it's the best driver ever made, hands down.

Goes where I aim
With the larger clubs I seem to hit in a larger area. This club makes me concentrate and in doing so my drives may be shorter but, they are straight and my second shot sets up well. If I tame my swing the club does the rest. Angle is just right allowing me to actually come close to my drive distance because now I have a roll. My game has improved

Accuracy Trumps Distance
When I am playing courses with tight fairways demanding extra accuracy, I leave my big headed drivers in the garage. With the more compact siza and a loft of 12 degrees, the driver can fill a dual role off the fairway taking advantage of more top spin and distance than that of a regular fairway wood or hybrid.
There may be less MOI but I don't seem to be in the woods or OB as much as the players with the 460 cc monsters.

I never hit the ball so far and straight
I have tried many drivers and eventually gave up using a driver off the tee because I could not hit the ball straight and long enoough to justify being off the fairway. With this club I am 30 yards further down the fairway and straight as an arrow.
