FT Optiforce 440cc Drivers
Too good not to have
This driver really is top notch from Callaway. I was a bit hesitant to try this one out because of it being pushed as a lighter overall club and normally I don't go after those. This is is a bit different though.
Although the swingweight is a few notches lower than most offerings in the market, this one still plays nicely especially when you upgrade shafts. I put a Graphite Design ADDI 6x in and it has completely changed this club to give me the launch, distance and accuracy that I was looking for in a driver.
Previously I have played both Razr Fit Xtreme and X Hot Pro but they don't compare to this club, its just that good. I'm not saying those are bad at all because I still have them but this is a nice change of pace from Callaway. The feel is almost indescribable and the sound is very nice as well.

To me just an average driver
I purchased this driver based partly on the reviews here, but also from a recommendation from a golf shop manager. My previous Callaway Razor Fit Extreme is longer and just as accurate as the FT Optiforce. Was expecting more.

Hitting longer and straighter and love the 6.0 stiff shaft. I just ordered the 3 and 5 woods after my positive experience with the driver. Some of my drives have added 40 yards to my distance. I'm 73 and putting them out there 225-250.

Switched from Razr Hawk to Optiforce
I was looking for a new adjustable driver, and always hit the Callaway drivers the best, our pro shop had just received the new Optiforce driver and was allowed to test the 440 head. I hit the ball 10-15 yards further with the same or better accuracy. I was hitting the 9.5 loft with the Project X 43 gram shaft. I used the club for 2 rounds and immediately bought one, after hitting the my new driver on the range, I adjusted the loft to 8.5 and neutral and love it. Very easy to hit and the feel and sound are great.

GET YOURSELF ONE
I HAD been using the 460cc Ping Rapture 2004 model with the ALDILA VS 65-S PROTO, since 2005. I have never found a driver that felt as good, sounded as solid, which I could hit with any degree of confidence.
I have been playing the 440 for about 5 weeks. The shaft is the Fugikura Fuel 60. This has become the new "best driver".... looks perfect, sounds solid, and the adjustability has me playing a higher trajectory while in the North West, and allows me to play a lower flight without trying to adjust my swing while playing in the dry climate of the desert.

Just what the doctor ordered
I’ve always struggled hitting the driver. For nearly 2 years I’ve tee’d off with mostly a 3-wood (avg 270+). A 460cc head for me visually is too difficult to look at the ball next to something so big. The 440cc smaller head makes it easier visually to look at and focus on the ball, so it’s easier to hit.
Shaft is perfect, not too whippy. This is a very nice driver. Now it’s easier taking my buddies lunch money. Ha!
