Product Overview

Designed with highly skilled golfers in mind, Callaway Golf’s Tour models have highly versatile features for trajectory control and precise shot-shaping. Accomplished players will appreciate the look and feel of the full length tour hosel, less face progression, and open face angle.

  • Forged Composite™: Stronger and lighter than titanium with an incredibly high MOI and a longer shaft. 33% of the clubhead is reinforced by 10 million turbostratic carbon fibers. Faster ball and head speeds mean an average of 8 yards over Diablo Edge™ Driver.
  • Hyperbolic Face Technology™: A selective reduction process removes excess material for precise thickness control and consistently high ball speed across the face.
  • Project X™ Graphite Shaft:The perfect complement to the Diablo Octane Driver, with a longer high performance shaft for maximum feel and performance.

Great looking and feeling club One of callaways best looking drivers to date. tremendous feel and forgiving. You can actually hit this one off the deck too. January 11, 2012

Hits long and straight Tees off like a driver March 29, 2012
Just what I wanted I used my son's Diablo Octane Tour and hit it 300 yards the first time I swung it. 280 yards the second time. I'll be 65 next week and was hitting the ball 230 - 250 yards with my Big Bertha (16 year old club). I had to have my own. What an improvement. Great products, great service, great guarantee. Callaway is the best August 11, 2012
Disappointed I purchased this driver to match the 3 wood and hybrids I already had in the same Callaway model. However, this driver came with an Aldila RIP shaft whereas my other clubs have the stock Callaway graphite shaft. Overall I would rate the performance and appearance of this driver slightly above average. I did not gain any additional distance with it, but I do have reasonably good control. However, I do not like the sound and feel of this club. When you hit the ball it sounds like a dull thud and has little if any feel. I've never experienced anything like it before and I've played golf for 50 years. It could be the shaft or perhaps there is some characteristic of the head design that is flawed. Whatever the case, its not good. February 18, 2012
A new era Moving to today's technology at reasonable cost is a winner June 7, 2012
Nice Club, especially for the price The club performs well in many different circumstances but has very little forgiveness for mishits. My typical drive is about 270 with a slight fade. My mishits are usually a fairly bad slice, missing the target by about 35 yards and this club hasn't helped that in the least. My well struck drives are going a little further than my old TaylorMade driver, but that's to be expected with 5 years newer technology. After hitting the Razr Fit driver at a recent demo day it was obvious that I've made the wrong choice by going with this driver. It's a good driver but is not very forgiving and has an awkward sound.
