    Features & Benefits

    Maximum Distance From Lower Spin

We lowered the spin in the Alpha 815 to help you maximize distance. How’d we do it? Start with a forged composite crown to save weight. Add in our patented Gravity Core for an adjustable Center of Gravity. The result: a low spinning bomber with forgiveness.

Speed and Forgiveness From A Lighter, Stable Face

Remember this name – R•MOTO Technology. It’s new. It’s groundbreaking. It provides the structure to save weight for an ultra thin face that maintains stability while elevating smash factor. Every driver should have this.

    Maximum Adjustability

7 gram and 1 gram weight ports allow you to set the driver to neutral, draw or fade bias. And our OptiFit hosel provides 8 different loft (-1, S, +1, +2) and lie angle (Draw or Neutral) configurations.

Big Bertha Alpha 815 Drivers is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 153.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from a very good buy this club was advertised as average. I found it to be in very good condition. Less expensive and better shape than I could have received from Global Golf. The club is ererything it is advertised to be. I am hitting it 15 yards further than my previous Adams XTD driver.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great choice for all but the most accomplished golfers. Extremely flexible and forgiving. The weights on the sides can be reversed to allow for a draw or fade bias. The weight in the center can be flipped to adjust the launch angle and spin. The loft can be adjusted down 1 degree and up twice 1 degree each time. As a result you can make the necessary adjustments as your swing speed and skill level changes. The penalty for off center hits is minimal compared to most drivers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Added distance I needed The ability to adjust the setting made dialing the correct loft and lie fairly easy. Added the distance I had lost , as a senior golfer I lost yardage , made the game less fun. Yardage back and enjoying golf again. Club looks good and has excellent feel. Get one and have fun again at golf

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I like this club, Has all the qualities of a well made driver, distance and accuracy' At 65 still looking for a few extra yards with my driver, Have owned several all top brands.in the past year. But I have to say this Big birtha is the longest. Don't know how long it will last it's nice to be able to reach the par5s again in two. Thanks Callaway

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Driver I am only 5'-7" and needed a driver that could be cut and customized. I was able to swing weight it and adjust the flight profile with no problem. I would highly recommend this driver for short people as all other drivers are made for taller people. Callaway was very helpful assisting me with selection.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Blows R1 Away I bought the Alpha 815 driver to replace an R1 I have been struggling with for the past 2 years. I would constantly hit a fade or lose the ball to the right especially under pressure. With Taylormade you are just opening and closing the face when making adjustments. I thought I was turning the loft down to 8 degrees from the standard 10 when all I was doing was opening the face 2 degrees. Unfortunately it took me way too long to realize this. After some research I found out that only Callaway and Titleist allow you to adjust loft and face angle independently. I chose Callaway for 2 reasons. First because I had bought the Callaway CF16 irons to replace my R7 irons and love them. Second I have played Titleist in the past and found them to be unforgiving in both feel and distance. When I first took the alpha driver to the course I was hitting duck hooks due to the fact that it is much lighter than the R1.I tried hovering the club at address for a smoother takeaway and the result was magic! After tuning to 8 degrees and a draw setting I was choosing which side of the fairway to land on. I went from shooting 80-85 back to the 75-80 that I used to shoot. Much easier to play from the fairway than the trees! Thank You Callaway!!
