Women's X2 Hot Drivers
BEST Driver for Women EVER
I don't write reviews...but I can't help myself.
I have a 9 handicap and have always played a senior mens club/shaft as a lot of low handicap women do. I loved my original Big Bertha and ran to test/buy the first day it was out. Something about the club was not right so I went to a Callaway demo day just this morning and had the Callaway rep test my club against others. I was right, there was a problem with the club and Callaway took it back. But...he asked me to humor him and hit the womens X Hot2
before I ordered a replacement. OMG I hit the X Hot 2 womens club 30 yards past my senior mens Big Bertha. Because he was willing to work with me and make sure I had the right clubs vs the most expensive I now have not only the right driver but also 2 new X Hot 2 fairway woods that go farther and straighter than my Taylormade Rblz 2 fairway woods. Thank you Callaway for great clubs and our fabulous Callaway rep

Very nice driver
This is my first adjustable driver and it took a little experimenting with the different settings. My other two Callaway drivers (FT-9 and Razr Hawk) were non-adjustable (a 13.5 and an 11.5 loft with draw and square face built in). When I read somewhere that I could square the face on the new X2 Hot by adjusting my grip then I experienced the beauty of this new club. Straight and long shots with a great feel.

Very forgiving and getting extra distance without any more effort.. Love the look as well. Light but well balanced.

X2 Hot Driver is a good addition to my bag
This X2 Hot Drive is a good addition to my bag but it has taken me a while to get used to such a large surface to hit on. I had old woods and they were babies compared with the size of this. It's taken me some time to figure how to tee it, get a better stance, and just relax with it. When I do let it rip, I hit it farther than I ever thought possible. I gave it a good rating versus great but that's likely due to the fact that my playing is more the culprit, not the club!

Easy to swing. Very forgiving. when you hit the ball correctly, you will get greater distance than ever before.

I have the X2 Hot 3&5 woods and satisfied. Tried the driver, but sounded "tinny" and distance was 15 to 20 yards shorter than my Callaway Fit driver. Easy to hit and very lightweight, but cannot afford to give up the distance. Returned to Callaway Pre-owned.

I bought this driver for my daughter who just turned 13 and is currently 4.8 index. She used to have the Original X Hot with Pink Nv55 shaft at 13 degrees. Although that the drive was very very accurate, it was launching too high with too much spin not getting enough roll. Spin rate was anywhere between 3 to 3.5k on Trackma, up to 4k on shots hit higher on club face. The most she get was 210, averaging about 200. We bought 10.5 in ladies and adjusted to 11.5 D. Trajectory of the ball was immediately different. Launch was slightly lower, but the spin is so much lower so she gets a lot of roll out of it. Adjusting the loft itself did not make significant changes compared to the head shape itself.
Yesterday, her approach on difficult to reach par 4 (365 yards) was only 8 iron at 130 yards, normally a hybrid. Yes, she hit the longest drive ever yesterday at 235. I couldn't believe my eyes. I normally caddie/supervise her, but yesterday, every single approach shot was about 2~3 clubs shorter. Rolls forever on the fairway! I'm extremely happy with the result, but more than that, I'm happy that she is happy.
Only cons with this driver is that it is very difficult to square up the club face at address. Visual thing. Probably due to the shape of the sole of this club, if you grip the club when the sole is grounded, it is very open. We learned that the hard way because she was pushing every shot to right and couldn't figure out why. It took us almost 2 weeks to figure this out but everything is fine now. Also, club is deeper, so will need to buy new tees as sweet spot seems to be higher off the ground than the X Hot.

Not a great club, I was a little disappointed
Years ago I had the Great Big Bertha driver and loved it and progressed to the carbon composite driver. The last few years I have been hitting Taylormade (Superfast 2.0 and also Rocketballz Stage II) I liked both but decided it was time to give Callaway another try. Not the great club I was expecting. It was OK but definitely not better than Taylormade. Guess I might be going back.
