Odyssey X-Act Chippers

X-Act Chippers are designed to take the fear out of chipping and pitching so golfers can hit it closer to the hole and save valuable strokes around the green.

The 37-degree model features grooves placed father apart, generating less spin to increase roll out on bump-and-run shots. The X-Act Sole improves turf interaction around the greens, especially on tight lies, which helps eliminate stubbed or bladed shots. A urethane insert provides soft feel to enhance distance control on both long and short shots around the green.

The 46-degree model features more grooves placed closer together to create increased spin, allowing for more aggressive pitch-and-stick shots at the flag. The X-Act Sole improves turf interaction around the greens, especially on tight lies, which helps eliminate stubbed or bladed shots. A urethane insert provides soft feel to enhance distance control on both long and short shots around the green.

Odyssey X-Act Chippers are versatile enough for three shots that will get your ball on the green and rolling sooner. More specifically, with the Odyssey X-Act 37° Chipper, you’ll be able to execute the:

• Pitch Shot – A high trajectory shot from about 15 yards off the green. The pitch is not meant to roll very far after it lands.
• Chip Shot – From 3-5 yards off the green, the chip shot gets the ball onto the surface of the green quicker, rolling toward the cup.
• Bump 'n' Run Shot – Typically hit from just off the green, the bump ‘n’ run has a lower trajectory than a chip shot and rolls like a putt after landing.
