Product Overview

Titleist 975J has a midsize, pear-shaped head to offer increased shot maneuverability. The 312cchead size gives you a high launch angle and a low spin rate produces a more penetrating trajectory. The 975J driver has a thin face which will return more energy to the ball for more distance.

Exactly what I wanted I wanted a low degree driver,7.5 on this club,to see if the lower trajectory would help my tee shot. I replaced a Callaway 6.5 degree War Bird with this club as this one has a larger head. For [$] it was one of the best buys I have made and has given me the practice to decide about a new driver in the future. I would check the Callaway on-line first, for any new purchases. Great club! I have struggled with the 460cc drivers ever since they came out, and it wasn't until this year that I realized - "Hey, I used to be way more consistent when the driver heads were smaller". Since I still hit my 3 wood pretty consistently, I decided to "go back" to a smaller driver, and the results have been great. With the 460cc driver, if I hit it 8 times per round, 1 was good. Now if I hit this driver 8 times per round, at least 6 are good. Me likey. October 26, 2011
Works well A little below average as advertised June 16, 2011
GREAT BUY FOR YOUR MONEY If you are looking for a good quality driver and shaft while staying on a low budget, this is perfect for you June 6, 2011
Titleist 975D Driver Great Driver. Very consistent. Easy to hit. October 20, 2010
An oldie but a goodie. While the Titleist 975D is an old driver, it just works. I used to hit it as a kid, and have since reconnected without a hitch. The head isn't obese so it doesn't look like you're swinging a melon. It is an 8.5 and produces a penetrating mid-level ball flight. The EI-70 shaft allows for great control and super long distance. I no longer have direction problems and consistently hit it in the 300s. Plus, it feels so effortless. All in all, it's pretty awesome. August 9, 2009
Better straight than long left/right I use this 11.5' 975D for the narrow fairways that you can't afford to be in the trees left or right. You'll get less sidespin with the higher loft. You'll be surprised sometimes the distance you'll get, sometimes as good as my reg. 10.5' 975D. Sometimes the higher launch angle is better for us amateurs.(geek talk) January 13, 2009
Finding an old friend Bigger isn't always better. I Traded in this driver 5 years ago in search of more distance. I have never owned a driver since that i as many fairways with. I been searching for the 975D for a long time. Thank you Callaway-Preowned December 1, 2008
