I needed something that could be hit with more confidence and reliability than a 4 iron. The X Hybrid is perfect for accurate, predictably long shots from either the fairway or light rough. I also use it from the tee on several long par threes with great results. It is everything I expected plus it has all the quality of Callaway clubs.

Best clubs ever. I've loved hybrids for years b/c I had trouble with a 3 or 5 wood off the turf, and could not hit any iron longer than a five well. These are way better than the snake eyes and snake eyes II's that I had b/f, and I thought they were great.

This is the most reliable, versatile club in my bag. It is easy to hit - don't have to swing hard to make great shots. Excellent approach club for 150 to 165 because it is straight, floats high and drops. The head, heavier and more compact than a fairway wood, is perfect for deep rough or punchout beneath the tree. Have I mentioned chips? Best for 15 to 25 foot chips with a putting stroke. Love it!

I bought this club to replace an older hybrid, and to be honest to have a full set of nothing but Callaways. I was surprised when i first tried the number 4 hybrid that I bought here at the outlet. The club is a bit heavy at first but it hits very well. The ball leaves the club face like it was shot out of a cannon. Great trajectory and controlibility. Outdistanced my old 4 hybrid by at least 30 yards. I plan to practice and play with the number 4 that I just bought and to soon add a number 2 Callaway hybrid to my bag. My 3,4,and 5 irons will be a thing of the past. I am a total fan of Callaway clubs and wouldnt even consider any other brand. For quality, playability, value and for even a little smile as people envy your set of clubs, Callaway is top of the line.

If you need to hit a fairway with length, the 18 degree Callaway X Hybrid with a steel shaft is what to use. I am nothing special off the tee and not always straight, but I just returned from Tucson where this club allowed me to hit drives up to 265 yards off the tee. The club has a great feel and terrific sound. I highly recommend it as an alternative to a driver when you become antsy off the tee.

I recently purchased the 3h and it has made a world of difference in hitting more accurate shots without the sometime fanned or weak shots of a long iron. This club is very forgiving and does not require a large swing. In fact, swinging slower with a smoother tempo seems to work the best. This is a great weapon to have when out 195-205 yards.

I bought The X 3h with the idea it would be easier to hit on long second shots! WOW what a difference over hitting a standard iron. I can hit it further with more solid contact than my previuous 3 iron. The only downfall I must remember to do is address, swing, and hit it like an iron, not a wood! Other than that I am in love with this club! I eventually plan on using a 4h in place of my 4 iron!

I was afraid that I would not be able to use the X Hybrid in the wind. I was not sure that I could hit the low shot when needed. Boy was I wrong. I first used the X Hybrid at this year's 2007 Texas Senior Open at South Padre Golf Course. The wind always blows there. After one practice round, I knew that there was no way the X Hybrid was being replaced by an iron. I hit the ball low, high, draw, fade and just some pure "knock-down and hope" shots. It never disappointed. Good buy on my part.

I bought a 3 hybrid the other month and loved it, easier to hit than my X 3 wood. Then I bought the 5 X hybrid, I just don't know where to fit it because it hit's so far and straight. Today at the range I was over 200 with the 5. I think my woods just became absolete.

I had hit hybrids that belonged to my buddies without a lot of success even own "The perfect club" and I can't hit it. This 21 degree I love and I can hit it about 190.

for those golfers that have a swing the hybrids do wonders...i switched out my 4 & 5 iron....now i am longer by 5 - 10 yards in flight for each club...but that means a slower swing does the same thing....

do wait get em.

I have the 2H and 3H hybrids so far and they've not let me down yet. My home course has "US Open" rough and these clubs have come through for me every time! The last time I used my 3 iron was out of the rough a couple months ago where my club twisted around on me and hit the ball 75 yds ahead and 50 yds left. I figured it was time to replace my long irons and it definitely paid off! I've hit these X hybrids out of 4" rough, sand, hardpan, mud, off the tee and fairway. I can't remember a single time that I didn't make solid contact and launch it a mile towards my target. They also easily get the ball up in the air so it lands softly. Hazards and high rough don't scare me anymore. The confidence boost alone is worth the money. Very dependable. Highly recommended!!

I was sceptical about a hybrid, but the pro at my course said I would be more consistant. I've played 25 or 30 shots with it and only missed 1! I need another and going to purchase a 2h soon.I have taken 3 & 4 iron out of my bag. very pleased with this club and getting familiar with the extra weight. Don't change a thing!

I was using the 4H/FT/Draw and was loving it but was still carrying a 4 iron (X Tour - Almost perfect!). I lent the club to my Dad. He wouldn't give it back. So I bought the 3H/X/stiff/graphite. It has replaced my 3 & 4 iron. I don;t carry a 5 wood. It is very consistant, accurate and wor
