FT-Hybrids feature Fusion Technology, the superior weight-shifting science used in the Fusion FT-3 Driver and Fusion Fairway Woods. By using multiple materials in clubhead construction, Callaway Golf engineers have optimized perimeter weighting to create a high Moment of Inertia for enhanced stability and forgiveness. The OptiFit System creates two Center of Gravity (CG) positions — Draw or Neutral — for most lofts, providing golfers a configuration that best fits their swing type and shot shape. The end result is exceptional distance, performance, accuracy and confidence.

Purchased my second FT hybrid. I carry #2 and #4 hybrids along with my driver, 3 and 7 woods, #5-#9 irons and 3 wedges and putter. I got rid of 5 wood, 3 and 4 irons. Much prefer the hybrids for longer fairway approach shots, out of tall grass and tee shots with narrow fairways. The #2 FT hybrid is my favorite golf club and more predictable than a 5 wood for me.

This is a great club. It may be a year or two old but it's hard to imagine a 2 hybrid, or 2 iron, that has the straight, low, long trajectory as this club. It goes a country mile for me, often as good or better than my 3 wood and, straighter.

The flatter sole and low center of gravity of this club makes it a good choice for longer fairway shots. I use the 2H for distances of 180-210 yds. I've replaced my old 3 WarBird fairway wood with this club. I use it for tee shots on tight fairways or long par 3s, as well.

Works well out of reasonable rough and is phenominal from the fairway. I love my ball flight witht he NVS hybrid shaft. real high and lands soft...but doesn't baloon. This club seems to have a bit of weight to it but is by no means heavy. I have a very high swing speed so for me this is a positive because it is easier to create a good tempo and really get a swing grooved in. I will be buying the 4 to go along with it. I think these clubs would be great for players of all ability and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for hybrids.

I bought a new Ft-i driver and X-18 irons used, along with this hybrid 3. The driver and irons are awesome, but they took a few trips to the range to get the timing right and start smacking them. The hybrid is a different story, while hitting the ball is effortless, and I have poked a few out in the 250+ range, I find the results very unrealiable and inconsistent. Hopefully in time I'll get the hang of this club.

I immediately fell in love with the FT-Hybrid as soon as I hit it, (I have the 3H 20 degree version).....great solid feel, good consistent distance and Callaway's usual excellent build quality.
I use this club off the tee on short par 4's, on 3-shot par 5's or long 2nd shots when the lie isn't good enough for the 3 wood.

The 1st time I hit this club 'in anger' was in an alternate shot matchplay event where my partner had duffed their drive leaving me 200+ yards to reach the green, I pulled the FT, made a smooth swing and watched the ball soar to the middle of the green, we won the hole and the match........The FT has never let me down since.

Awesome club, super reliable and an absolute 'go-to' club, it looks great, plays great and just plain works.

This is the first hybrid I've owned. The first day I used it, I couldn't get a good ball flight. I then did a little research on hitting hybrids and where to position the ball in your setup. After moving the ball back in my stance (like a mid iron shot), I am getting great ball flight and hitting the FT like it's supposed to be hit. I don't carry a 3 wood, and use the FTh-3 in most situations that players would play their 3 wood. I may sacrifice 20-30 yards, but the accuracy and consistency with this hybrid more than make up for it. I hit my FTh-3 around 220yds. This club is even easier to hit off the tee.

I personally needed a club I could hit 185-195 yards and it filled that part of the bag. The club has a draw I can rely upon, and I can hit it without a draw. The only flaw the club has if the ball is sitting down in grass off the fairway it has a tough time cutting through the grass, so in other words keep it in the short grass.

When you do connect it feels really great so it could be I just cannot hit it, but I always shanked it right and couldn't seem to figure it out. I would not refer this club to someone who doesn't have a fined tune swing

The weighting in this club makes launching the ball into orbit from any lie, easy as it is to hit. Work it left, work it right and gently stop the ball on the green, even to tight pins. Amazing in every sense of a word that might be used to describe a club. I LOVE THESE BRIDS!
