The new FT-5 Driver is the latest evolution in clubhead design utilizing our revolutionary Fusion Technology. A massive 50 grams of discretionary weight has been created using a Carbon Fiber Body — creating the OptiFit Weighting System that produces three center of gravity configurations: Draw, Neutral and Fade, enabling golfers to choose a combination to best suit their individual game. The larger, more robust CT/VFT Titanium cup face is designed to the legal limit, as defined by the USGA Characteristic Time test, resulting in increased ball speed, distance and forgiveness — even on miss-hits.

I'm accurate with my clubs but have been distance deficient off the tee..The Callaway FT-5 Tour has added 20 yards to my drive. It's the right tool for my need. My fun quotient has gone up signficantly.

There is nothing better than finding the right tool at the right price that truly helps increase my pleasure. I call that a "sweet value".

I've been playing Callaway woods for the last 13 years. From the Warbird to the GBB to Hawkeye VFT. The FT-5 is the best driver that I have owned. When I took out for the first time not only did I find the fairway it was also much longer. Never realized how much better golf is from the fairway. This club is a keeper.

FT-5 Draw 13 Degree

I recently bought the FT-5 13 degree loft to go with my 10 degree FT-3 Driver. I use it like a three wood (or, like I used to use a three wood) which makes it possible to work it a little better on holes that require a draw or on long Par 3's - the ball flight is high and carries like my 3 wood did when I was in my 40's - 20 years ago. The club is producing a really nice controlled draw or straight flight, excellent carry down wind and I recommend this club, especially if you are getting older and the holes are getting longer each year. The two drivers tactic is pretty nice, too - I hit the 10 degree into the wind and when I need a little more yardage. I might replace the FT-3 10 degree with an FT-5 10 degree draw, which I think will help me get the ball started on line, especially (if) when I swing harder. Got the Bassara shaft, which I like.

I just got this last week ... have played 2 rounds at my home course. I had atleast 20 yrds more even on my miss hits when compared to R7's good hits.
I love the sound ... and the feel is great ...i can now easily tell how and where i hit the ball ... every hole i had to go further down the fairway, from where it would normally be with my R7, to find my ball ... buy it and hit it

This is a great driver as far as distance. I would suggest ensure you are aware of your swing speed before electing a shaft. The E-150 is a good shaft but is not as stiff as I had hoped. Otherwise, put this club in your bag for an added 15-20 yards off the tee!

My FT-3 seems to correct all my bad swings, and it goes just as far as the FT-5. Maybe the shaft or loft isn't right on the FT-5, but the FT-3, for me, has much more MOI. I intend to return my FT-5; I bought it without ever hitting one because of all the rave reviews. The blind faith didn't work.

Not bad for a 66 year old with a 18 handicap. Callaway can't get any better but they keep improving their products. Keep up the good work.

This club is long off the tee when you hit it on the screws (as long or maybe a bit longer than my old BB 454 Titanium). But the huge difference is when you miss the sweet spot. The MOI/resistance to twisting isn't a lie. Toe it with a slice swing, and this club is just off the fairway instead of deep in the trees. Note: you lose considerable distance on mishits, but what you lose in yardage you more than make up for in accuracy.

[...] I found the condition of this 'used' golf club to be well above the 'average' rating it was given. But best of all, it works just as advertised ... I'm hitting longer straighter drives more consistently than ever before. Pounding balls well past the 250 yard marker on the driving range is almost as much fun as hitting balls within short pitching wedge range on par 4's. Lovin' it!

I finally found a driver I will keep. Tried Big Bertha, R5, and FT-i. This one is straight and long. I am hitting an average of 8 more fairways per round. I am hitting drives at least 50 yds further. Love the feel through the swing.

It goes great off a high tee, well forward in your stance. Even those that don't get the sweet spot fly long and high.

I played the FT-3 Tour for a long time until at a social outing I tried a friends FT-5, one hit was all it took, I had an FT-5 Tour ordered from this site within 48hrs!
The FT-5 is instantly much more forgiving and launches higher, this higher ball flight provides more distance and the superb forgiveness provides much greater accuracy.
I have tried most of the other 'Big Dawgs' in the market today and I have yet to find anything which compares to the overall performance of the FT-5.
Awesome Club, Well Done Callaway!

I bought it one month ago and increased immediately my accuracy. Great feel compared to my old one (Cobra SZ400). Simply the best one I have ever tried.
Now I can get the most of fairways, what was a dream before.
