Product Overview

Play with Power and Precision

Once again, Callaway has made a giant technological leap forward with Forged Composite. This new material developed in collaboration with Lamborghini is lighter, stronger than titanium and allows Callaway engineers to position weight exactly where it maximizes power and distance. Over 23 million turbostratic carbon fibers provide the Callaway RAZR Hawk with the strength needed to withstand the violent impact between the Hyperbolic Face and the golf ball. And with a 460cc head shape 43% more aerodynamic than its predecessor and the longer Aldila RIP shaft, swing speeds are faster for even more distance.

  • Forged Composite™: Revolutionary new material in the sole and crown of the RAZR Hawk driver that’s lighter, stronger than titanium. Over 23 million turbostratic carbon fibers comprise 67% of the clubhead and allow Callaway engineers to precisely control weight like never before. The lighter clubhead enables the use of a longer shaft for faster swing speed and longer distance without compromising forgiveness.
  • Hyperbolic Face Technology™: Chemical milling process selectively removes excess material for precision thickness control across the face, producing consistently high ball speeds for long distance.
  • Aerodynamic Head Shape: Streamlined surface contours reduce energy loss from drag during the downswing by 43% compared to the FT-9® Driver, creating higher impact speeds for added distance.
  • RAZR Weighting System: Select lofts are available in either Draw or Neutral configurations, allowing you to find the model that works best with your typical ball flight.

• The ultimate in interchangeability so golfers can select from 22 clubheads and more than 70 shafts for over 1600 combinations to find the ideal driver and meet the challenge of the day.

• Shafts are available from some of the best-known and most respected manufacturers in the industry today.

• Shafts and clubheads an be quickly and easily assembled and disassembled with the torque wrench.

Rated 3 out of 5 by First Defective, Replacement Looks Old Might be good, hard to tell. First was defective (would not stay tight) Sent it in at my expense for a replacement that stays tight but looks in worse condition than my older FT9 club head that this was to replace. Based on my experience Callaway has gone downhill. April 4, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Accurate and long Having used the FT-5,FT-9,and Diablo Octane I have to say this is the best Imix head of them all. I have paired all these heads with the Aldila DVS stiff shaft. This Razr Hawk is the 10.5 draw and it delivers ropes down the fairway. Very easy to hit and quite forgiving, you can draw and fade the ball as you want.Someone remarked it was a driver on steroids. The ball jumps off the face and gives you consistency throughout your round. Also will give you low screamers off the fairway if needed.Muffled sound at impact only drawback I can report.Absolute nuclear bomb when cranked up.If I swing it at 90% it is staight as a pin.Really having fun with this club! Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Club 10 to 15 yards longer, and feel more in control with the swing. Great upgrade from my FT 9. Love it! April 23, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Wow!! What a deal! I have the I Mix shaft and found this head by chance. IS THIS THING LONG!! I opted to go to a higher degree and it has fixed my slice...more angle-less spin. This clubhead is in new condition. I will be using Callaway Pre Owned from now on. Why buy em new when you can get them here like new at a great bargin. Thanx Callaway!! June 6, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by Still silent, but NOW deadly! Yes, I was the one who wrote the scathing, "Silent, but not quite deadly" review below. I really owe the Callaway engineers an apology, for my lack of matching the equipment properly to my skills. I read that the head on the retail glued driver is lighter to work with a longer 46" shaft. I was trying to make it work with my stock length i-mix stiff shafts and couldn't load it. I was lucky enough to find on this Pre-Owned site a Diamana Whiteboard 73x stiff shaft that was +1" in length. Rated as "good" on the site, came to me in near "like new" condition. Took it to the range, added a little more wrist bend and "Whoa!", it had me posing. Say hello to my new best friend. Longest driver ever and pretty close to my i-mix IQ in accuracy. I'm sure I just need to gear in the swing. My apologies to all that I might have offended with my criticism! This head works! February 25, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Silent, but not quite deadly! Since this was a gift (that I really, really wanted) from my wife, I can't admit I hate it to her! As my 7th Callaway fusion type head, it is the worst, in my opinion. I had to add a lead weight to attempt to get my stiff shafts to make it work. I have no confidence in this head (i-mix, by the way). I'm going back to my FT-IQ and Diamana blue board combo, which I can hit 250-260 and straighter than my eight iron. I regret trying to add 10 more yards again (my FT-IZ was longer, but wilder) and falling for this Lamborghini hype. By the way this head hasn't changed my opinion of Callaway pre-owned being a great store! January 22, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by why only buy a head? I went through the website and bought the club; however, I only got the head. I have bought clubs here before and I got the entire club. Typical thinking is that when you buy a club, you get the shaft. I got the shaft allright. I had to return the head at my own expense and buy another club. The club I got in return was not of great quality. I don't want to keep paying postage to get the club I want. Customer service is lacking too. They simply suggested another club and that I was responsible for the postage since I made the mistake. I have sent a few emails to customer service and I still haven't heard anything back. I wouldn't recommend this site to anyone now. May 28, 2012
