Product Overview

Ping G5 uses internal weight pads and a sloped crown to optimize the center of gravity for optimum performance from any lie. The Ping G5 hybrid have similar weigting to that of Ping drivers meaning weight is repositioned on the sole to optimize spin for maximum distance and control. The G5 hybrid is constructed from high strength 455 stainless steel on the face to deliver higher initial launch trajectory and increased ball speed for maximum carry distance. This Ping G5 model made the 2007 Golf Digest Hot List.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Club Great Price! Got the G5 at a really great price and it was shipped quickly! The club looked brand new except for a tiny mark on the top back of the club face. As far as hitting the club...only played this game for 3 years so for me anything will be an improvment! What I think is most important is Callaway has a program where I can get named brand club in excellent shape for an affordable price. I could never spend the prices every named brand club charges for new clubs. So I am very thankful that Callaway offers this program! Thanks Callaway! March 3, 2012

Rated 4 out of 5 by A solid preformer I've been playing G5s for 2 years. I replaced my 5 iron with this hybrid, I had previously replaced my 3&4 iron with a 19 degree G5. I'll never go back. It hits the ball much higher over the same distance with less off line. The only draw back is that if I get under branches and need to punch it low I've really not got many options in my bag. Also, I can draw it, but I can't control the draw- however hitting straight is no problem. August 25, 2008
