This club is not made for longer grass; and yet it is not meant for putting. I have a problem taking it to any course.
Confused!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Javier Stroke saver for my game !!!
My short game sucks. With this club it gives me confidence that I need for the area around the green. I have no fear anymore of short chip shots or lob shots.

As a beginner, I was having trouble with my wedge shots close to the green. This club gives you the punch to get out of tall grass and control your ball roll. You need to practice with it, because it can send the ball a long way!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Xarkzila Finally A Club That Fits My Play!
I've used a chipper/putter for the past couple years as I've never been good chipping with a regular club. I came on the site to look for a new sand wedge and this popped up in the search.
I immediately realized I couldn't live without this club because I already have a mallet Odyssey mallet putter. This looked almost like an exact match to my putter and I thought that having it in my bag would make it easier to use than my old chipper/putter.
The feel and response is much like my putter and this club works great once you know how to use it. It's really no different than your regular putting stroke and once you nail down the distances it's pretty easy to get it close if not in.
I've used this club from up to 20 yards away and also from the sand, when the lie permits. The 37 degree face angle is just what the doctor ordered. Just enough flight to get over the rough and plenty of roll. I use this club almost as much as my putter making it the second most used club in my bag.
If you're looking for #14 take a serious look at this club as it's far more useful than you might think!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Daryl the Walker Time to "chunk" my 60* Wedge!!
At first I thought this might be silly or a little gimmicky, since "chippers" can be purchased at your local discount department store for about $20. But I really needed a club I could use around the green that I wouldn't "chunk" or "blade." I wanted the quality that is associated with Callaway/Odyssey that would go well with my Odyssey two ball putter. I have used this club now as a 37* putter. It goes over fringes and sprinkler heads with no problem. It has little inverted dots on the club face that some how (I don't know how) get the ball to check up some. It came with a round regular grip on it, but I put a putter grip on it which has one flat side. Replacing the grip made it much easier to use. I use it as a lofted putter, and that makes so many more shots "puttable." I am currently attending the Shell Houston Open and have seen at least two instances where PGA Touring Pros have "chunked" their wedges on the greenside and put unnecessary bogeys and worse on their scores. So nobody is immune! This club doesn't necessarily knock the ball into the hole, but it keeps greenside disasters off my card.

Only utilized this club on a couple of holes. Nice loft on approach to greens. Hope it plays like my other Callaways.
