Great feel and control. This grip allows me to feel in control of my club with absolutely no concern about slipping or turning. August 24, 2013
An excellent product - IF IT SUITS YOUR ABILITY LEVEL My review summary may seem ambiguous, not to say oxymoronic. Let me explain. I recently bought a Callaway FT Tour driver in outlet condition, stiff Voodoo shaft; I asked for and got a grip modification - up to Jumbo - specifically, Golf Pride Jumbo Tour Velvet 60 Round Grip. I did this because I have used and liked Jumbo grips installed by my Pro' (Euro Oversize grips). On receiving the FT Tour ( a super club, and an absolute steal for the price) I found I could not do anything but hit it low and right. It was the grip - it was too fat for me. So, I had it replaced with a standard size grip and now hit it straight and long. Let me emphasize that this was not a problem with the quality of the grip - I simply chose the wrong size grip and was, consequently, not able to release the club sufficiently, at the ball, and couldn't square the club-face. The reason I am sharing this is simply to caution fellow golfers - if you are going to put fat grips on your clubs, make sure you can use them first - try one out. I thought the Golf Pride Jumbo Tour Velvet would be fine because I was using Euro Oversize grips on my woods. Not so, it turns out that the Jumbo Tour Velvet is appreciably thicker than the Euro Oversize, and I couldn't use it. Good golfing June 30, 2013
Great feel for big hands! Great grip for big hands; pros will tell you midsize is the best but I get the best feel and feedback with these grips after playing for 20+ years. January 22, 2012
