Apex Muscleback Irons
Everything you would ever want from a blade -- and so much more.
So, these were the first club in my life I've bought without ever hitting. Having set one down at a demo day, but being too injured to hit them, they looked THAT good. So I preordered them, and began the agonizing process of waiting. Finally, they came. And wow, they're incredible.
The first thing you notice when you hit a ball is how they manage to be both incredibly buttery, but remarkably solid at the same time. About 5 minutes later, when you're done staring in awe at these clubs, you'll hit your second ball. On this one, you might notice how easily they get the ball of in the air, without ever a thought of it ballooning.
So then you'll get a few more balls hit in your first bucket, and probably be aware of how absurdly consistent these blades are. They do exactly what you tell them to do, and nothing more. There isn't any variance in these clubs. You put a 5 yard cut swing on it, and it will cut 5 yards. Not 6, not 4, 5 yards. Every time.
These clubs are not leaving my bag at any point in time in the next 10 years, and the incredible feedback they give have made me a substantially better ball striker. My only question is: Where does Callaway go from here?

I like the looks of this club
These clubs are by far the best Irons i have played. I have tried a lot of different irons including Titleist AP1, AP2, Callaway Apex Pro, X18 just to name a few. These clubs don't seem to hit like a blade. I still have my Apex Pro set and took them to the range the other day and I can not hit them as well as my MB irons. I have let several friends hit them on the range and everyone of them was real surprised on how easy they are to hit. I plan on keeping these irons in my bag for a long time. Thanks Callaway, I am now off the market for trying to find the right clubs for me.

The club allows you to make the least adjustment to your swing while allowing the club to workfor you.
I tried using the Callaway Apex irons but they seem to be heavy in the club head for my swing. Since taking a "risk" and taking a chance on the Callaway Apex MB my golf game have soared to tremendous heights. Since using the clubs I have made more Pars and Birdies in the past 3 months plus an Eagle par 5. Last week with the Callaway Apex MB I shot a 39/43. Yes, Callaway "I WAS ON FIRE"! The clubs are light weight and they feel good. Even when I miss the ball it's as if the degree of error is minimum as the ball is still on line with the target. Normally when playing with a cavity back the ball would be either far right or far left but with the Callaway Apex MB clubs it seem easier to get up and down from the fairway and in fairway's that are bare around the greens. I must admit it took practice to adjust to the small club head on the Callaway Apex MB but after putting in the time on the range I was able to become more consistent with my ball strike. Even my friends have noticed a significant difference in my golf game and yes, they have noticed my clubs. It's very impressive to have the Callaway Apex MB in my golf bag to include the Callaway X2 Hot driver, 3 & 5 woods. Don't forget the Callaway X2 Hot golf balls! My golf game is on fire and can't nobody do anything about it because "Callaway" is the real deal. Thanks!

You have to play these
I don't think you have to be a single digit handicap to play them. They are great, long and it's the perfect club to shape shots

Purest Irons I have ever hit
I am just astonished on how pure these irons are for a blade. I have been playing a callaway iron for almost 5 years now..since I was 10. I just made the switch from the X Forged over to these and got fitted for them and I absolutely love them. These are obviously geared towards the better player, one wanting workability, versatility and feedback. The look of the iron at address is gorgeous with the satin finish and for a blade it is truly a "forgiving" blade. I love the trajectory control I have with these irons and especially the ease at keeping the ball at a more boring flight for the short irons and being able to throw the long irons up in the air.

Best muscle back blade on the market.
For me this is the best muscle back blade on the market. It is more forgiving than many of the cavity backs out there. I find it almost a club longer than my prvious clubs.

Best iron I have ever played.
Do not be scared, these aren't the muscle backs of old. You do not have to be a low, single digit handicapper to play these irons. I carry the Apex UT 21* and the Apex MB 4-PW. I don't keep my handicap, but I shoot anywhere from 85-95 (depending upon how I do off the tee) and I play twice a month at the most. I went from X22's to these and I am hitting the ball longer and straighter than I ever have before. Such a clean look at address and even off center hits are still smooth and just as forgiving as any cavity back I have played. Get fit for the proper lie angle and shaft flex and you will absolutely love them.

Received my new MB's a couple of weeks ago and after 5 rounds I absolutlely love them. I even love the fact that I didnt have to wait on them being left handed. Keep up the great work Callaway, you have a very loyal customer here!!
