Good setup, rolls true
I have had an old ping zing 2 for about 15 years that I had just grown accustomed to as "my putter" and it was pretty dependable for me, but then I started to see that I was averaging about 30 putts a round and not really rolling in anything over 10 feet. I was excellent at lagging with my old putter, but just wasn't rolling them true enough to keep a good line. Since I've switched I've been rolling them a lot truer with this putter. It has a good weight and decent feel, and I was kind of against getting a two ball or three ball or massive mallet style putter so this is pretty good. I've been scoping out an Odyssey #3 though, because the look of this putter still feels a little foreign, and the #3 is pretty much a replica of my ping zing 2. I've rolled in quite a few long putts with this thing, including a 50+ footer last week that had about 3 feet of break in it. And the funny thing is, when I make putts with this thing, it doesn't just feel like I got lucky. It has added a lot of confidence to my game on the green and I've dropped at least 3-4 strokes off my index in a month- all on the short grass.
