Accuracy Now Goes Farther Than Ever

RAZR XF is our most premium Iron set designed with the highest levels of forgiveness and appearance. Featuring a multi-material club construction and all the technology Callaway has to offer, these irons are the ultimate in playability, feel and presentation. The RAZR XF Set has created a new standard in Callaway Iron designs, and is the ideal choice for golfers seeking greater distance and accuracy along with super soft feel and impressive styling.

    • Multi-Material Construction: Forged 1025 Carbon Steel Body is perimeter weighted for a higher MOI and increased forgiveness, and provides a soft, responsive feedback at impact. The 455 Carpenter Steel Face is stronger than traditional stainless steel, generating faster ball speeds for added distance.  The Multi-Material Medallion is constructed of aluminum and injection-molded plastic to fine-tune sound and enhance feel off the clubface.
    • Aggressive VFT Technology: Precision shaping of the face thickness in each club increases the size of the sweet spot. This technology generates hotter ball speeds for longer distance.
    • Zero Roll/Inertia Driven Designs: Clubface with zero roll produces a higher launch angle on shots hit low on the face, increasing distance with softer landings. The increased head size and added offset makes this our most forgiving hybrid. These designs produce shots that fly higher, longer and straighter.
    • Black PVD Finish: Physical Vapor Deposition Finish comes from a high-tech process that produces a distinctive stealth look for reduced glare and a jewelry-like appearance.
    • Lightweight Shaft and Winn Grip: Featured on all irons.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from unbelievable change given that I'm aged and high hcp, I had decided to change my old regular Diablo Edge for a light iron set, so I purchased a Razr XF and Callaway erroneously sent me a set 3/4 inch longer.. In short, I never had a fitting, but if for me the old (standard length) set could be evaluated with a 5 on a scale to 10, the purchased Razr XF well deserves a 9 (I cannot exclude something better exists..): accuracy and feel much, much better than the old set, while distance.. 1 to 2 clubs improvements! cannot say much about quality, being a quite old set I can only say that for my golf it has been an unbelievable change

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Forgiving, accurate, feel great to hit Golf is about getting the ball into the hole and these will be very useful to that end. They are consistent to hit and get the ball up and airborne a reasonable distance, even with slight mishits. Also, at a certain age, it is about not hurting your joints, and the graphite version just feels great to hit. No sharp jolt, even on mishits. I wonder if Callaway would consider bringing them out again?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best irons I've ever played And that includes the 2006 Big Berthas and my recent Titleist ap1 714's. Regarding the Titleists: hit the center and they feel like butter; mishits, however, are less than pleasant, in feel, direction and distance. At 62, 10 handicap, I'm now all about forgiveness. That means my awesome new Big Bertha driver. And my even more awesome RAZR XF irons with graphite shafts. Hit them in the center and they're butter; mishit them and they're still butter! And they fly the ball farther than anything I've used. As for accuracy, my first round with them I played a challenging course and missed only two greens! My second round, I shot an 80, which could have been so much lower, were it not for my erratic putting. My playing partner, who games Mizuno JPX's, tried out my 6 iron and fell instantly in love. He couldn't believe how light and effortless the club felt. Even the kid working at the clubhouse wanted to hit a shot. I pointed out to both of them that the XF's are no commonplace iron. They're FORGED. That's right, an SGI iron that is actually forged--just like a player's club but easier to hit. As for the hybrids, the 4 just launches the ball, and yet it feels like hitting nothing but air (!) And so it doesn't appear I'm gushing too much, I find the 5 hybrid visually unattractive--far too large. I prefer a normal 5 iron, to match all the other beauties in the set. Does it sound like I'm a satisfied customer? Make that gratified.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great clubs Very forgiving and comfortable to use. As I get a bit older the graphite shafts have come into their own for me. These clubs have made a very positive contribution to my enjoyment of the game. A great buy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality club and game changer Shaved 3 to 5 strokes per round off my score. At age 58 picked up an average of 8 to 10 yards for my 5 through pw clubs. Accuracy improved also. Easy to hit and have a feel of quality. Played Burner plus irons before and saw a great improvement in both distance and accuracy. Left callaway due due my dislike of the 2003 big bertha irons but glad I came back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful clubs....all that I have wanted. Feels great at impact......long and straight and lots of feel with the shorter irons. Love them. Bought 4-PW.....have scrambled around and found a 3 iron and hope to get a "S" wedge later today from Canada. Love everything about them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great club for the money I was an 18 handicap, and wanted the best player improvement irons I could afford. Our courses here in the NW are lush, and I liked the increased bounce on this set. These Razr FXs not only look great at address, but they produce a great ball flight and seem to have added 5 to 10 yards over my FT i-brid irons of the same loft. (I did move from stiff to regular shafts) My shots are straighter and more consistent with the Razr XF irons. My handicap has dropped to 16 in the month I've had them, and moving lower. Frankly I don't know why they quit making these clubs.
