    Features & Benefits

Next-Generation 360 Face Cup Technology for Longer Average Distance

Advancing the industry-leading face technology that made Callaway the #1 Iron in golf, the rim of the Face Cup is 1 mm at its thinnest point to add even more ball speed on center hits and further minimizing distance loss on off-center hits.

Exo-Cage for Energy Lensing and Maximum COR

Exo-Cage head construction stiffens the body to allow the face to take on more of the load of impact. This is known as “Energy Lensing” - it promotes faster ball speed for longer distance, and it helped raise the COR in Epic Irons right up to the limit in each iron. We’ve never reached that level of speed in a full set.

Metal Injection Molded Tungsten Infused Standing Wave To Optimize CG Location

Multi-material construction demands strict tolerances, seamless fit and secure bonding. Epic Irons are precision-milled and robotically welded, and every iron in this set is uniquely constructed for maximum integrity and optimum performance. Incorporating tungsten in the Internal Standing Wave allowed Callaway engineers to precisely position the CG in each individual iron. This includes a lower CG for easier launch and long carry in the long irons, higher CG in the short irons for a lower, more controllable flight, and left-to-right CG control in tandem with the hollow hosel.

    Premium Shaft Offerings

UST Mamiya Recoil ES 760/780 graphite and Project X LZ 95 steel stock offerings with a wide selection of premium steel shaft options at no upcharge.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love these irons I used Taylormade woods and irons for many years - over 30. I was not happy with the fitting I received for my TM M2 driver so I brought it back and was fitted for an X16 driver. After that, I was hooked on Callaway. I purchased a new Epic Driver, Epic 3 metal and Epic irons. These irons are better than anything I had before (as are the woods). They are long and I really like the weighting. I had them fitted with two degrees upright (and a slightly oversized grip) which is better for my swing. These irons have me swinging smoother and making better contact - which is probably the best compliment I can give. I would never invest in a high end set this this without being fitted. After this experience, I will never buy any set without being fitted.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Scam .5 extra ball speed compared to apex? These are a scam. I bet they were going to replace the Apex (year 2) irons but the apex's were still doing well so callaway did not want to eat the cost and they came up with these "premium clubs". I am a huge callaway fan but do not support this club by any means. very clicky feel and i hit them on my instructors trackman and saw no gains in performance just a massive increase in price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing value for a course friendly musical instrument These are LOUD. The feel and look is amazing, the finish is sexy and looks great behind the ball. A little chunkier than I would have thought I'd like, but they are light so it is deceptively manageable. They had a tendency to go a little left for me, but I weakened my grip slightly and they were straight as an arrow with a normal swing. A lot of people complain about the price, but these are clubs I will be hitting for a good five years or more, and if they cost $800 more than another set, thats only about $12 a month and I spend that on a bucket of range balls. People spend SO much money on drivers, and other stuff, but bellyache over the cost of the most central tool to their game - worth the money! I'm glad to see a mainstream manufacturer stepping up their iron game they way that everybody has been doing with drivers for the last decade.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great irons but pricey I tested every iron on the market and with the epics and the apex I gained 20 yards immediately compared to my old TMs and nothing else out there was within 10 yards of that gain. What made me choose the epics over the apex was hitting the 3 iron. I hit the longer epic irons better than the apex and more consistently. However, the epic irons did ding easily. My eight iron bumped my wedge when riding on the cart today and put a small ding on the toe of the club. Overall, I am very pleased with these. My only gripe is the high price tag per iron.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from you get what you pay for Although these clubs are pricey they are the best set of irons I ever owned. extremely accurate and long. I had a 30 day playability program and they never went back.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disapointing Let me start by saying i love callaway equipment i will never play any other golf club in my life. However these irons are over priced and not worth it. I own callaway forged 2013 model and will never switch i think they are the best iron callaway has every made. But against my better judgement a friend of mine that owns a golf shop talked me into playing a round with a set of the the pro version, but just in case i brought my forged 13 irons along for the round. The starter thought i was weird playing as a single with two sets of clubs On the cart but i exampled. i played exactly 8 holes with them and never hit them again after that. The feel of them was awful, the top line was to big, the ball flight was way to high, felt like i was hitting a hockey stick not a golf club, and they are not even a nice looking club. Don't believe the hype, very disappointed callaway fist bad review i ever wrote about a callaway product. To top it off you are asking people to pay $2,000 dollars for these irons REALLY!!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Top of The Line The new Epic irons are not worth the money being charged. If you want to lose distance and accuracy, go ahead purchase these irons.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Just Nice Looking. Tested these at golf galaxy. Man was I hitting them far compared to my irons. Of course they had them separated by color in the screen. So who knows what they put in for the conditions on the computer. I was hitting these further than my King forged Tec irons. Well I had to get them. Had them ordered through Callaway. The clubs came and I tried them out. They look really nice and that's it. When I started to hit them it was terrible. I lost at least 10 yards per club and started fading them. Used them 3 times and shot in the mid 90s. Switched back to my King forged Tecs and was back in the low 80s. What a waste of money. I just don't get how you can hit them 10-15 yards further in the store. Then you hit them 10-15 yards shorter with a fade. I'm really lost for words on this one.
