    Features & Benefits

    Increased Distance from Jailbreak Technology

Innovative new technology changes how the head and face behave at impact to promote more speed across a larger area of the face for increased average distance.

More Forgiveness and Lower Spin from Exo-Cage Construction

Innovative head construction unites our titanium Exo-cage with an ultra-light triaxial carbon crown and sole, allowing improved perimeter weighting for more forgiveness and makes it possible to position the CG in line with the neutral axis, which lowers spin.

Spin Control and Trajectory Control from Interchangeable Weights

Two interchangeable weights in the head (2g and 12g) to adjust spin-rate and launch angle. Put the 12g up front to lower spin; in back for higher launch and higher MOI.

Fast Head Speed from Industry-leading Aerodynamics

Streamlined head incorporates our proprietary Speed Step, created with direct input from aerospace experts, to improve airflow for more swing speed and distance.

    High-Performance Stock Shaft Options

GBB Epic Sub Zero Drivers is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 56.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Added distance and improved accuracy I never considered a new driver, until I played this as a demo. I have a Cleveland Hibore XLS from 2007, and I hit the Epic consistently 25-30 yards further and more accurate. It's taken 4-5 strokes off my game. Great benefit to hitting a much shorter club into the green.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best driver I have ever owned I am not 100% sure on the yardage gained with this club over my previous Callaway drivers. I'm guessing maybe 10 yards or so. The thing I can't believe is how many more fairways I am hitting now. The epic sub zero is my go to club now. I Have played it for about 2 months now and have never hit the ball more consistently.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loooong and Accurate! I'm a +1 golfer of 37 years, coming from the M1 which was the most accurate (fade bias after hotmelting it) and longest driver I have ever hit or owned. I didn't think that anything could beat it, until I received my second generation EPIC SZ! The issue some of you may have had is what I will write about first, but read on and you will see that it is amazing! I'm a VERY accurate driver of the ball and above avg in distance (290 avg) and when I received my first EPIC SZ it was definitely a hook machine and very draw bias. I couldn't hit a fade unless I drastically changed my path and spun the head open with my grip. I play a baby 3-5 yard fade which allows me to be accurate, and I couldn't find the fairway with any kind of confidence with the original SZ. I was disappointed because it was so much longer on my mishits compared to my old M1 or any driver I owned in the past. I saw about 20 more yards on mishits which was amazing and why I continued to use it. But my scores were suffering due to all the missed fairways. I was practicing late at night and my foot slipped due to not wearing my golf shoes and I put a very small dummy mark on the crown and it cracked the crown just a bit. Cosmetic I think, nothing major. I called CALLAWAY customer service to tell them and to see what my options were, and they told me no problem, we will ship you a new one. I was floored how great they were. I received my new setup about a month later due to backorders and was hopeful that I had received a dud the first time that was draw bias and that the new one would be fade bias like so many testers have stated. Well, IT IS DEFINITELY FADE BIAS this time around and I couldn't be happier!!!! I hit 13 out of 14 fairways with it my first round out and was 40+ yards past my playing partners in the windy conditions. I love the look, the feel, and the sound of this driver, and now that it is fade bias, it is now the best driver I have ever owned in allllll categories- looks, feel, sound, accuracy, quality, and distance... Callaway customer service is the best in the business as well... Thank you Callaway for all your efforts and help... Keep up the great work....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Epic Driver takes no Prisoners! Really not a big Callaway fan... To that end, a month ago I visited the local golf shop and tried a few of the newer model drivers and found the Epic to have a more aggressive feel! The feel is like you can hit it a mile, a true feeling of confidence! A few of my golf buddies try it on the course and they were very impressed "with the feel" as well. It's no surprise if you hit a club well it will produce distance and the Epic driver delivers the mail! It's truly a superior club and I congratulate Callaway on a job well done.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Everything is great, except the sound. But I didn't buy it for the sound. I went to an E W store intent on getting another driver. My mind was made up as to the brand and was just working on the fitting. After 10 shots with the driver I wanted to buy and another 10 with my old driver, there was no appreciable difference so the "fitter" says try this. WOW! GBB EPIC SUB ZERO 10.5 degree. An immediate increase of 15-20 yards carry distance, but more important the dispersion decreased. Confidence level is way up. Mis hits still go 220+, and they are in the fairway. My only complaint is the sound, kind of like hitting a rotten pumpkin, lol.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Best driver I ever hit I didn't think Callaway could get better than the XR pro but with the epic sub zero they have. I am a high spin player with my driver and this club takes all the spin off. It produces penetrating bullets that just go forever

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great driver but concerned with durability I bought the subzero epic driver and have to say it’s definitely the straightest and longest driver I’ve had yet. Unfortunately I was playing in a tournament a cpl days ago and after hitting my driver on hole 10 I heard a cracking sound and looked down at the top of my driver and the part where the black and the carbon fiber meet had about a two inch crack. My local golf shop will replace immediately which is good but hopefully it was just a fluke and won’t happen again. I did call callaway and they sent me a box of balls for the inconvenience. Has anyone else experienced this issue with this driver?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome feel very solid on impact even mishit shots I was never a fan of the GBB EPIC drivers till today I was club fitted and tryed the difference with the XR Pro and the GBB Epic driver feel was unreal compared to the XR pro. I was a huge fan of the xr pro until today when I was showed the numbers and it was jaw dropping the epic driver was an extra 25 meters longer then the Xr pro now my average driver distance was 267 now 288 that is a 2 club difference. If you want a driver that has a awesome solid feel look no further then this driver the best I have hit and I swear by.
