GBB Epic Custom Drivers is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Memories I have for 20 years switched between Callaway and titleist wood. I replaced my 915 series with the 2017 Callaway GBB Epic Driver, 3&5 woods. I gained about 6 yards of carry and 4 to 5 yards of roll out, this allowed one less club into the green. The Epic Driver will take some range work to get feel and confidence, there is almost no feedback from the face attack since the jail break technology decreases any compression. It took me 3 weeks on the range to get my release and follow through angle correct. Gained 3 to 5 yards with both the 3 and 5 woods. I am a 8 handicap and play Youghiougheny Country Club in Western Pennsylvania, a narrow and long course.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Face Quality on This Epic Driver - Very surprised and disappointed I received a custom ordered Epic Driver in August and was very excited. I took it out to the range briefly and tried to hit it and I was very disappointed because no matter what setting I put it on, it did not even go as far as my GBB (which has the same shaft). I tried to play with it a few times and the results were not good. Then one day I happened to notice the face of the driver was all marked up. Having owned about 8 or 9 Callaway Drivers previously, I was very surprised. When I went home I looked at the Faces of the 4 Callaway drivers I still have and none of them looked like this despite having about 100+ rounds on them. I have called Callaway CS and even sent them a picture of the face of this Epic, but I am still waiting for them to send me a mailing label to send in the clubhead for inspection. I even checked all of the Epic Demos at my club and none of them look like the face of this new, barely used Epic Driver. I will follow-up when Callaway decides what to do.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love the Epic Driver I can feel the weight of the Club when I swing and I am confident that the ball will go the maximum distance for my swing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Replace Callaway 815, catalyst was the customization option to get in a preferred color to lime green More forgiving than 815, slightly longer, and great adjustments for loft and left/right bais

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great feel, look, and sound I have played about 15 rounds with the GBB Epic, and I have been very happy with it. I have seen modest distance gains (5 yards or so) but I hit my previous driver (Cobra Fly-Z) very well. The biggest factor in making the change was the feel and sound of the Epic. I also prefer the more compact head of the Epic. I tried everything out there, and the GBB Epic performed best for me. Go give this one a try! If you like it, get fitted, I don't think you will be disappointed.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from good performance but cracked face The performance is very good. Unfortunately it took a long time to get the driver because it was on back order. I had to send it back because cracks in the face of the driver after only three rounds of golf. Now I am with out a driver again. Very disappointed!!
