    Features & Benefits

Maximum Distance From Extreme Low Spin

This is the lowest spinning driver we’ve ever made. If you have the ball speed and launch conditions to match, extreme distance will be there.

Lighter Weight In The Face Leads To Low CG

Remember this name – R•MOTO. It’s the new face technology that provides structure and saves weight leading to higher ball speeds all across the face. And we use that weight to move the CG low and more forward to give you even more speed.

    Adjustable Launch Conditions

We modified the crown of the driver so we could fit a taller Gravity Core. This gives you more spin separation between low and high settings. All without changing loft or face angle.

    Compact Head Shape

The players who use this kind of driver like a deeper face, and that’s what we’re giving them. The shape of the crown and face angle at address all suit better players’ eyes.

    OptiFit Adjustability

8 way adjustability for loft (-1, S, +1, +2) and lie angle (Draw or Neutral), along with Draw and Neutral CG settings.

Big Bertha Alpha 815 Double Black Diamond Drivers is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 55.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not just for 'the Experts' only... I started playing golf for the first time ever about 5 months ago. I mean, the first week I was hitting the ball maybe 15 yards with a 9 Iron. That being established I started with a Strata set (max 200 yards with driver). Then I got the bug and couldn't help but get the XR set, driver and irons. Irons are the best. The XR driver I was hitting about 215- 220. Then I decided to take advantage of the Callaway promotion and get the XR Pro (Stiff. 9*), Big Bertha 815 (Regular, 10.5) and Big Bertha 815 DD (Stiff, 10.5). Very Skeptical about the 815DD because I am no where close to an expert and need something very forgiving. XRPro Which I expected to do well actually performed very badly FOR ME, I just didn't have what it takes to hit that as consistently as the XR. Either very low drives or very high ballooning drives. The BB 815 on the other hand boosted my drives about 20 yards and very forgiving. Mishits cost me about 20 yards maybe at the most. Now to the beast, the 815 DD, for the first time in my short golfing life (5 months), I passed the 240 mark, with the first shot no less, and went 278 yards carry!!! yes I am not kidding freakin 278 yards carry! Flag was at 273 yards and the ball landed a few yards past that. Then the shots afterwards went even farther in carry distance, I just couldn't tell how much farther from the flag the went but they kept going. Best guess would be about 15 yards past the flag making it close to 290 carry! Now the mishits on this one cost me about 60 yards. I am definitely keeping this driver even if I have to take a few months to learn it and use it more accurately. The shots were relatively straight, will take me a while to start shaping them or aiming better. I am keeping this one... In love with it! The BEAST!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Right shaft. Played several rounds with this driver now. Accurate and forgiving but remember this shafts are the motor to your driver. I was lucky enough to get the right shaft for me. I'm 51 years old and hitting my drives 280 and some over 300. Love this driver one of the best Callaway has put out. By the way it's the Rouge stiff 69 gram shaft.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing I have hit this driver about five rounds now and I want to say AMAZING. Not only is it long accurate and forgiving which is unheard of. I have the Aldila Rogue Silver 60 Graphite stiff shift 69 grams. My swing speed is 107 I’m driving the ball 275 to 325 straight. Its easy to work the ball definitely the best driver for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic I have only played 2 rounds and have not attempted to adjust ball flight. It is as accurate and longer than previous driver. I hit a couple of my longest drives on the course we were playing and the course was soft. The driver is quiet when hit well and it took a couple of drives to get used to the sound.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from best driver yet I have tired/used many drivers. From the first swing I knew this driver was going to be the one. Long, straight, the ball flight you want. Sounds solid off the face. Many guys I play with want to hit it, but I won't let them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I don't get the hype. Callaway just makes great clubs. This is another example. I purchased the DBD with a silver rouge stiff shaft. The stiff borders on a regular flex. Perhaps that why I'm a bit disenchanted with this club. I came from a Razr Fit Tour Authentic w/ Project X Black S-flex to which I will be putting back into my bag. In my opinion, the Razrfit TA is longer. The DBD might be tad more forgiving. The S shaft flex playing like a R flex is real a turn off. Also, the club came with a generic Callaway cover which is disappointing. This is a fairly new club. I'm surprised I received the black Callaway barrel cover. Just ask corporate for a the real deal head cover. It should be policy that all clubs still being sold in retail be distributed with the matching head cover. Also, good luck finding info on their webpage on the settings for this thing. I had to go through google to find a link into their own webpage!
