The Big Bertha 2008 Irons take forgiveness to new heights by integrating a set of clubs featuring the new i-brids™, clubs designed to replace hard-to-hit long irons. The i-brids combine the accuracy & control of irons with the forgiveness & versatility of a hybrid & are the most highly playable hybrid-like irons Callaway Golf could make.<br> <br> In the women's model the 4 through 7 iron is always going to be the i-brid version while the 8 thru lob wedge will be the traditional.<br> <br> On the men's model the 3 through 5 iron comes in both i-brid and traditional. <strong>Please look for the 'i' designation when making your selection.</strong>

A stainless steel face and body combine with a tungsten-infused sole to optimize the center of gravity (CG) and increase the moment of inertia (MOI) for superior forgiveness.</p> <ul> <li><strong>Fusion Technology</strong>: Multi-material construction enters a new phase as a stainless steel face and body combine with a tungsten-loaded sole plate that helps Callaway Golf engineers strategically place the CG for optimal ball flight trajectories and shot-shaping control.</li> <li><strong>OptiFit System</strong>: Our proprietary OptiFit System enables golfers to customize their club to fit their individual shot shape by giving them two CG locations to choose from in most lofts: Draw for promoting a draw or reducing a slice/fade, and Neutral for maximum workability.</li> <li><strong>Tungsten-Infused Sole Design</strong>: The sole is designed with a lower leading edge, making the sweet spot more accessible for various skill levels. Callaway Golf engineers compiled detailed research, conducted extensive testing and received input from women golfers and instructors in developing our first driver designed specifically for a woman’s game. Its 440cc titanium head, slightly longer shaft and strategically positioned center of gravity (CG) help you hit longer tee shots that find the fairway.
