    Features & Benefits

New short-game weapons with the feel and precision accomplished golfers demand from their wedges.

Legendary clubmaker Roger Cleveland raised the bar once again with the new X-Forged Wedges. Designed with input from Tour players, they are constructed from soft 1020 carbon steel for incredible feel. The clubs also feature a tighter heel-toe radius that provides increased versatility from anywhere around the green.

    • Forged 1020 carbon steel: Allows for exceptional touch and feel around the greens. Available in two finishes: New Satin Chrome or New Vintage, which is the look preferred by most tour players.
    • Mack Daddy Grooves (MD): On selected 56- through 64-degree models, the aggressively-sized grooves are designed at the maximum depth and width for tour-level spin, trajectory and distance control.
    • Tour Grind Sole: Allows for maximum versatility in shot-making on a variety of turf conditions around the greens.
    • C Grind Sole (MD-C): Allows for maximum versatility in shot-making on a variety of turf conditions around the greens.
    • Multiple loft/bounce angle combinations: Choose from among 12 loft/bounce combinations that range from 48 degrees to 64 degrees to find the wedge that works best for your swing and the turf conditions.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesomely fun club. Not much practicality. This review is for the 64 degree X-Forged Loft Wedge. I have an amazingly fun time hitting this club. I just don't seem to skull shots and it doesn't really dig too deep either so that I don't end up stuck under the ball. It just pops the ball into the air with a ton of spin. The only caveat is that there's not a whole heck of a lot of distance. Which makes it a bit redundant in my bag. Not to mention the weird loft puts it pretty much out of reach of my other clubs. I try to keep a four degree gap, sometimes more on the back end, but I usually end up with a 52/56/60 setup with wedges, and that may even be too much loft. I just don't have a practical purpose for a 64 degree wedge, however much fun it is to hit. Quality and workmanship was top notch. I enjoy Callaway irons, and this one is no exception. Someone who needs a short distance spinner might find more use than I did. Or, if you just want to have some fun at the range and test yourself. Overall, not a bad club.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent club Bought this club because I needed something I could hit about 110 yards. Although the distance isn't quite there yet. I have been able to hit some of my best shots of the year with this club.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Purchase so far. I got a used and was a little hesitent upon receipt. The Club face looked cast-iron like and made me really skeptical. After the first round I played I quickly changed my tune. If you hit your PW solid even with taking something off your swing HIGHLY recommend you get a Lob Wedge. It is Money 80 yards or Few. Aim for the stick and hope you catch some roll. Most I have seen the roll with this is roughly 3-6 feet (on a bladed shot). I like it for the chip game too..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredible control I didn't realize how wore out my vokeys were until I began playing these. Like Gary McCord says, these land "like butterflies with sore feet". These wedges provide great feed back and are very consistent.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed I hate to write a bad review, as I've always been very pleased with the products from Callaway PreOwned, but this purchase was an exception. I tried to save a little by buying a wedge in 'Average' condition, and have learned from my mistake. The face of this wedge was severely worn. The wear doesn't seem to affect it's playability, but I've owned forged clubs for over 15 years that don't look this bad. Also, I'm pretty sure the shaft is wrong too. I ordered a standard length Project X 6.0, and I'm pretty sure this is a 7.0 (label is partially worn off) that's an inch or so longer than standard (same length as my 9 iron). Again, I've had nothing but great experience with Callaway PreOwned, and will continue to shop here in the future.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid Solid spin on 60-70 yard shots into the green. Nice feel. Grip is lazer thin though so I'll need to put a thicker grip on it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A new short game I like it most right around the green. Soft landing shots and even backspin. Can't wait to get consistent with the club.
