High Ball Speeds from Next-Gen Hyper Speed Face Cup

Fourth generation Hyper Speed Face Cup responds to off-center hits with greater efficiency to promote faster speed across more of the face.

Faster Head Speed from Speed Step Technology

Developed with direct input from aerospace experts, works with the new aero-elliptical head shape to improve airflow for faster swing speed and distance without extra effort.

Spin and Trajectory Control from Adjustable Weighting

Switching the positions of the 22g and 3g weights in the sole adjusts spin 250 rpm** to create a choice between lower launch, spin and trajectory or higher launch, spin, and trajectory.

GBB Epic Sub Zero Fairway Woods is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 35.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Feel and distance. Callaway again produces a club that increases my distance and retains feel. I had switched to a couple of other branded 3 woods the last few years and could not work the ball. Nice to hit it straight but at the expense of distance and strategy. Epic has it all! Thank you again Callaway.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what I've been waiting for former PGA professional, trained club-fitter, 30+yrs experience. This 3 wood is fantastic. Easy launch, long off a tee or off the deck, workable left to right or right to left, adjustable lie and loft, adjustable weights 22g and 3g for front and back positions. The adjustability of this fairway wood is just what we all need. I have hit some great shots in just 2 days on the range and on the course. It is easily the longest 3 wood I have ever hit and the launch was simple to dial in (no trackman needed). I now have no need to hit driver off the deck on those tight holes with o.b. left and right. Choose the correct shaft and you'll love this 3 wood (my shaft=project x t800 stiff). Bonus, ordering from Callaway Preowned means no problems, guaranteed, reward points, no counterfeits, quality, cheap shipping, and secure transaction, trade-ins, etc. I have ordered several items and even returned a club and they are great each time. Simply, they are outstanding.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great club After swapping the weights so the heavier one was forward, this club feels more solid than any 3 wood I've ever hit. Decreased the loft by a degree and still hit it plenty high. Love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Callaway did it again!!! I switched to using Callaway fairways a few years ago when the X2 Hot Pro line came out. I hit that 3 wood and was instantly sold on the way it felt, the ability to work it both directions, but mostly being fade bias, and the distance I was hitting it from the deck. I then purchased the GBB Alpha 816 16* and liked it, but felt I did lose some distance over the X2 Hot line, but enjoyed the adjustability of it. Fast forward to the EPIC line. I purchased the Sub Z when it came out and it's by far the best driver I've ever owned in 38 years of playing, so I naturally looked into the SZ fairways. I didn't have a lot of interest at first, but decided to buy the head only from one of my sources since I didn't need the whole club due to the many aftermarket shafts I own, and had no interest in the lack luster stock shafts. I took it out to the course last week for the first time and after hitting the very first practice ball with it, I was in shock. The feel, was absolutely amazing, like an old persimmon wood. It launched with the perfect height, and went forever. It instantly kicked my gamer 816 Alpha out of the bag. Took it on the course and it got even better. I hit it off the tee twice on a very short par 4 (352 yds) with a pinched fairway, and I ended up with only 64 yards left. I was literally 40+ yards past my playing partner who is normally very close to me in distance. Then I actually went over the green with it on a par 5 that was 545 yards long, and I had 243 yards to the pin, and ended up in the back bunker. I've never reached that green in 2 over the years, but with my EPIC SZ driver and EPIC SZ fairway, I was able to go 22 yards longer than the pin. WOW.. I would say that this club is for the better player who is able to control his ball, and isn't afraid of the very small head (which I love). It's even better then my past X2 Hot, and that was the best prior for me. Bottom line is this, if you are looking for a 3 wood that looks great, feels AMAZING, launches med-high, perfect from the deck, accurate, workable, and is very loooooong, then look no further. This is just like it's big brother "for me" in the sense that it is the best fairway that I have ever owned.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best 3-wood I've ever owned, and I've had several! Fits my eye, sets up beautifully, great sound and feel at impact, can hit it high or low with draw or fade, and best of all goes 10-15 yards further. Thanks Callaway.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great feel and ball flight Purchased to replace my Alpha 3w (that ai turned into a 5w). Really liked the feel and the Hzdrus shaft that matches my Epic driver. Slightly different weight than my Alpha (I had lighter sole weights). First shot I hit was a bullet and went further and straighter than my Alpha used to. Go get it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the new technoligy in their new woods Epic forever. I have SZ driver, 3 and 5 wood. Best, longest most forgiving clubs I've ever owned. Also Callaway's customer service is the best there is in any industry. They get it.
