Original Steelhead Fairway Woods is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 38.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Golden oldies! Old product for sure, maybe not as far as newer woods. However easy to hit, good clean looking woods. Plenty of lofts to fill any gaps you how. Prices are economical. Prefer these woods over hybrids.5 wood is a versatile weapon. For the price you should try one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Big Bertha Steelhead Stainless Steel Metal Woods Still one heck of a club. Long, straight and very easy to hit. There is a reason that Callaway is reintroducing this one to the market.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great addition to my bag I was beginning to have trouble getting my Steelhead 3 aloft, so I purchased the Steelhead 4. With only .8 degrees of difference it's amazing how much easier it is to hit this club.......it goes farther than my 3 wood did, and has made hitting long fairway woods fun again. As someone else mentioned, when the clubs are this easy to hit, who needs adjustable screws, lofts, etc. I play with the 4,5,7,9,11 original Steelheads and love them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the Steelheads! Finally, I have a three wood I can hit. I purchased this 3 wood after purchasing a used Steelhead 11 wood about 2 seasons ago, which I use all the time. These two clubs see more use than any of my other clubs. Very happy with them both.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best 3 wood ever owned Obtained one of these after my last Steelhead 3+ was stolen (along with the rest of my clubs) from the back of my car. The first Steelhead 3+ may be one of the best 3 woods ever made - must have had it 20 years. That's coming from a scratch golfer that has played every 3 wood on the market. Sure, with the Steelhead 3+ you can't adjust the loft and lie with a neat wrench and your choice of shafts is limited (1 maybe?) (Memphis 10?). But none of this matters - the club is and always has been pure in all its dimensions and specifications. That said, I don't like the Callaway grip that feels really funny at the butt of the grip - bubbled almost. But grips are grips and once you throw a Tour Wrap on this baby, build it up with an extra few layers of tape you are ready to go. A word of caution - the shaft takes a bit getting used to. At first your slight draws may appear as duck hooks - at least mine did. That changes for the most part, though I do find that I need to aim a bit further right than I usually do to compensate for a 260 yard "enhanced draw."

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tried and True I have played the original Steelhead for years. I carried a 4 wood and decided it was time to change to a 5 wood. The club I purchased was rated "Like new" and that was an accurate rating. It is in excellent shape, no marks, and it is very lively. All the clubs in my bag are made by Callaway.. I would not play anything else.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Steelhead 7 wood This is an old school club. I had a 7 wood years ago and hit it fairly well. I forgot about the 7 wood as I changed clubs and hybrids replaced the high loft woods. I saw the steelhead 7 on clearance and decided to buy one. The club was rated as like new. I don't believe it had ever been used. The first time I hit it the ball went about 170 yards which has been a between distance for me. After using it for several rounds it has become my go to club for shots from 160 - 175 yards. I love the sound off the face and the old Callaway look.
