Epic Flash Sub Zero Triple Diamond Drivers Technology Item
      • Features &

        • Progressive Head Shape
The head combines a higher toe, more face progression and a straighter top line for a look and setup at address that's become increasingly popular among Tour players. This new shape helps you align the face to the target line to help promote a neutral to fade shot shape.
        • Optimized CG for Increased Control
We've implemented extensive feedback from countless hours of testing with our Staff Professionals, and used that data to optimize the CG position for a high level of control. The CG is precisely positioned for preferred spin characteristics, while also maintaining high MOI properties for forgiveness on off-center hits.
        • New Flash Face Technology for Faster Ball Speed
Callaway engineers used Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to create a radically different face design to increase ball speed in the center region of the face.
        • Jailbreak Technology for Faster Ball Speed
Internal Jailbreak bars stiffen and stabilize the crown and sole, placing more impact load on the face to promote faster ball speed.
        • Adjustable Perimeter Weighting for Ball Flight Control
Repositioning the 12-gram sliding weight gives golfers the power to easily promote draws, fades or a straighter flight. The first time for APW in a Sub Zero driver.
        • High MOI – Low Spin Head Design
Advanced head shape and internal weighting create a rare combination of high MOI and low spin in a player’s driver, resulting in more forgiveness and longer distance.

Epic Flash Sub Zero Triple Diamond Drivers is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 56.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from VERY EASY to hit and keep in fairway The driver has always been the worst part of my game and keeps me from being a 4 - 5 handicap. I have played Callaway for years and was playing Epic with Mits white board stiff. My club had a demo day and working with our Pro on trackman he started building a club without really any input from me other than liking setup and feel. In the end I was fitted for Epic Sub Zero with Mits Tensei Blue reg flex. My club head speed moved from 93 to 96 and average carry was 245 yards with 265 overall. When I read how many people hit 300+ yard drives I laugh - most of you do not hit 300 yr drives....... Anyway this club has allowed to hit most fairways and I have gained 5 - 10 REPEATABLE yards. Setup is perfect and this head shaft combo has a nice high flight with a 5 yard draw.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wrong driver setup I originally ordered the driver with the Fujita shaft, called to find out why I hadn’t received it and was told shaft no longer available. No one bothered to call and let me know. I called and the customer service lady I talked to recommended the super light X shaft. Received the driver and hit about 20 balls with it and it is awful. Huge slice that is uncontrollable. Tried everything and it didn’t help. Have sent 2 emails to Callaway about the problem and have not heard back. Have been in Alaska for 3 weeks so haven’t even swung it again. Totally the wrong shaft for a guy who basically hits a very straight drive.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Hidden gem in the Flash product line I fluctuate between a 4-6 index and am extremely particular about my equipment. I go through fittings (mainly Club Champion) before buying almost all of my equipment to make sure I am maximizing the club and my wallet! I play a draw and will do anything to limit the left side of the golf course. A lot of clubs have a neutral or draw face angle which is not good for me, but the Triple Diamond has a slightly open face angle which is perfect for me. At address it sets up eliminating thoughts about hooking the ball, is clean without the line on top (like the regular Flash) and has the right amount face depth. I chose the AV Tensei Blue which is the first time I've played this shaft, but I knew it had the playing characteristic that match my swing. The combo is great and I am loving every swing with it. I chose the higher 10.5* loft to offset the lower spinning head and the combo is a great match for me. I found this product by accident and REALLY happy i did! I'm sure the regular Flash and Flash SZ are great, but the Triple Diamond is a different animal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great feel and distance driver Just got my order of Epic Flash SZ Triple Diamond delivered yesterday. Took it to the driving range compared with my Epic Flash SZ. My range session with the new SZ Triple Diamond driver with the shaft proven working for me, it becomes a beautiful beast. I put the Fujikura Ventus R2 flex or Lite flex shaft on this driver, it really shined. As other reviewers commented, this driver is not for everyone. If someone slices, this driver will not work for that someone. If you are someone who wants to eliminate the left misses and most time your misses are left like me, this driver lets you be more aggressive without fearing missing left. You don’t have to have high clubhead speed to let this driver work for you. I am a female golfer and have a moderate swing speed around 80’s. This driver is the longest driver I’ve hit so far. Another positive surprise, this driver actually is more forgiven than my regular Epic Flash SZ. Off center hits don’t lose as much distance, which I like. I thought the opposite was true before I hit it. The sound comes off the SZ Triple Diamond is better and the feel is also better than the regular Sub Zero, which most golfers will like. The Epic SZ Triple Diamond is going in my bag. Will hit the driver in my next tournament. I love my regular Epic Flash SZ but the Epic Flash SZ Triple Diamond is in a different league. I am glad I purchased the Epic Flash SZ Triple Diamond.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gained 25 Yards I highly recommend this driver after being properly fit. The consistency and forgiveness of the Epic Flash SZ has lowered my handicap by 4 and increased my distance by 25 yards while allowing me to get only par 5's in 2.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Driver especially for someone who has speed and distance but looking for that extra bit of control without losing too much distance The Triple Diamond is between the Sub Zero and the standard Epic Flash. Play with higher spin than SZ but lower than Epic Flash. Seems a bit more forgiving than SZ as miss hits tend to be more spinny but more under controlled vs SZ miss hits could be ultra low spin and less control Size is 450cc but does not look smaller when playing it played a few rounds with it and really like it over my SZ and the standard Epic Flash SZ center perfect hit I found will often go further as it has lower spin but the extra control (a bit more spin than SZ) of the Triple Diamond I found gives me more fairway hits

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Epic SubZero Triple Diamond Just tried the Epic Flash SZ Triple Diamond at a Callaway Demo day and was blown away. The crown actually does NOT have the white line like the other Epic flash drivers. In my opinion, it looks incredible without the white line. I thought I'd fit into the standard SubZero, but I was spinning the Triple Diamond about 200 RPM less than the standard SZ (which I needed because I'm usually a high spin player). It should be noted that the Triple Diamond has a strong "fade bias" so if you slice stay away from this driver. I typically play a little fade off the tee and had to move the sliding weight to the draw position to hit it straight, but once I did that man was I hitting bombs (quote stolen from Phil Mickelson). I was averaging 112-116 mph swing speed and 165-170 ball speed depending on the quality of the strike. I was averaging roughly 280 carry rolling out to 300 and a few up to 310. Great Driver and sounds slightly better than the loud standard SZ in my opinion. Again, if you have troubles slicing the ball or hitting big fades, stay away from this driver.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Driver has no pop! Instantly regretted this purchase after the first round. Thought I was upgrading from a 3yr old driver but was I wrong. I lost 20yds on my drive. After 3 frustrating rounds I put the old driver back in the bag. I guess the epic flash will be an expensive dust collector in the corner of my office
