Great club for fairway and the tee. When my Driver is failing me, the 13 degree picks up the slack with my tee shots. I don't lose much distance from the driver and it's safely in play.

I use both of my 2008 X tour fairway woods as an alternate driver on tighter courses or any course where shot placement is critical. I have both the 13* and 15*. It is more accurate than any driver and nearly as long. I still love my FT-IZ Tour Driver, but my 13* is my go to club on tighter courses. If a course is not very long, say less than 6700 yards, I often leave my driver out of the bag. Yeah, these clubs are that good.

1. Use the fairway woods off the tee or on the course to get the best results to get to the green
2. Doesn't have to be the latest product to work well. You still have to swing the club
