Comments about Callaway Golf X-20 Tour Irons:

I was suspect about buying used clubs, particularly about the condition. I was very pleasantly surprised to find the condition was not only as good as the rating, it was even better.

As for the clubs, I have only had a chance to play them 3X before the snow hit here in CT. I shot two of the best rounds ever..the X-20 T's have have much better feel ...I can't wiat till spring!

Comments about Callaway Golf X-20 Tour Irons:

These irons are great for those wanting a shorter club from toe to heel and some forgiveness to make up for not being able to practice as needed with a blade-like iron. The top line is thicker, but it is a convenient price to pay for improved distance on mishits. Solid shots feel good for a cast, and they are workable in both directions. Off center hits still fly very well which was very surprising. Bottom line, get these if you are looking for something that yields better off center shots, workability and good distance.

Comments about Callaway Golf X-20 Tour Irons:

I had to get rid of my Bridgestone J36 forged irons because of the vibration and damage to my elbow and wrist due to hardpan we have on my home coarse. I was very upset because I really loved the Bridgestone clubs and how I could work the ball, but after laying out 12 weeks this summer due to injury, I felt I had to make a change. I selected the x20 tour with flighted 5.5 shafts, and had Callaway Used Clubs put extensions and grips on for a nominal charge. Boy are these clubs great! I can still work the ball, not as much as my forged set, but at least I am playing and not icing my elbow now! Great feel, and very little vibration. Go get em!

Comments about Callaway Golf X-20 Tour Irons:

I love these clubs. Bottomline, they are point and shoot clubs, literraly. If I want to hook them, they hook, cut, fade, or aim straight, they do whatever I want. My friend turned me on to the Callaway site after I hit his big berthas at the driving range. I hit them further than my Apex Plus Hogans, which are hard clubs to hit. I immediately read the reviews and knew I would need the X-20 tour irons because of workability and ease of hitting, and I am not exagerrating, they are amazing. When I played with them, I went to three Par 3 courses and I hit more greens in regulation than I ever had before and I also put many shots right next to the hole. I look forward to buying X-22's in 2-3 years. I also train people how to play golf and will recommend these and some of the other lines of clubs to my students and friends.

                      A:

The Nippon is going to be a uniflex shaft so it will play between a regular and a stiff flex and will adjust to you swing speed. The Project X shafts will have a different flex and the 6.0 is a stiff flex.

Unfortunately, we do not do any re-shafting here at our pre-owned site. The Aldila NV 85 graphite shafts are a parallel tip shaft, which will not fit the head of the X-20 Tour irons. The stock graphite shaft that will fit the X-20 Tour irons is the Callaway M75i Tour Graphite shafts.

The standard steel shaft in the X-20 Tour irons will be the Royal Precision Project X Flighted shafts.

A "regular flex" in Project X shafts that was referenced in the above answer, would be a 5.0. A 5.5 flex is stated as firm, and 6.0+ are stiff.

The X-20 Tour irons are an older model and they will be a bit more forgiving than the X-22 Tour irons. They will have a larger sweet spot and a wider top line making them easier to use than the X-22 Tours as well.

                      A:

With a 20 handicap, I would recommend using the X-20 irons. They are going to be more forgiving and have a larger sweet spot making it easier to hit more accurately.

                      A:

A forged iron is actually mainly pertaining to the material that the irons are made of. They are made with 1020 carbon steel construction for unmatched feel and feedback. The X-Forged irons appeal to the elite golfer as they have the thinnest topline, narrowest sole, and a shorter blade length and minimal offset.

Good condition have seen normal use (usually several seasons)and may have some cosmetic imperfections, but are in better than average shape for that particular model club. Very Good condition clubs may have a few scratches but are in fantastic shape. Like New condition clubs are nearly impossible to differentiate from new. They have been hit very few times, if at all, and show almost no wear.

You have 15 days following the receipt of the purchase, if you wish to return any product in the exact condition that you received it (has not been played with), a 100 percent refund will be given for the price you paid for the product. You will be responsible for the entire cost of the original shipping, handling and taxes and any costs incurred during the return of the club to us.

I believe you're referring to colors that PING uses. The different colors offer by PING designate the lie angle of the club - black is standard, blue 1 degree upright. You may want to review with PING. Callaway does not use this method for descriping lie angles.

Callaway also uses colors to depict lie angles. Black is standard, Green is 1 up, White is 2 up, and Blue is 3 up. Gold is 1 flat, Red is 2 flat, and Yellow is 3 flat.
