Great deal on a great looking club
I am a casual golfer who was looking to upgrade from my 13 year old set of irons. These did the trick at a great price. They arrived in great condition. The clubs look great at address (if offset does not bother you) and so far seem to be quite forgiving, even on slight mishits. Callaway has done a great job of bringing terrific golf clubs to the public at reasonable prices though the pre-owned web site. Why would anyone buy cheap garbage at a big box retailer when you can get great clubs like this from Callaway for a few hundred clams? Great job Callaway! Looking forward to the golf season!

The "like new" X-20's I purchased were not "like new", they were "new". The X-20's are longer, smoother, and more accurate than the X-18's I was previously playing. I could not believe the difference! My golf buddies are not happy that now our redistribution of wealth on the course is more in my favor.

Dont judge clubs the way they look
One thing that i like about these irons is that even when you hit it out one the toe you still get good results. One thing that is good is that they are light clubs for me i am 14 years old and that when you make good contact you feel like you hit it like a pro. One thing that i dont like is that callaway needed to make them look like the r9s. The best round that i have shot with them is a 77

Look like new
Have only played one round but I can tell they are great. Was shipped the wrong clubs first time around but they got it right with minimal hassle

Downgraded review (3 stars to 2 stars)
Right after posting a previous review for my X-20 irons, I had them stolen from my car. As fate would have it, my misfortune was the best thing that ever happened to my iron game, so I felt compelled to re-write my review. After my clubs were stolen, I played my friend's old Steelhead X-14 irons, which blew me away. I ended up buying my own set of used (cheap) Steelhead X-14's, and they are monumentally better than my new X-20's were (before they were stolen). My X-20's were okay on flush hits, and they were marginal or terrible on mis-hits. Occasionally they felt somewhat forgiving, but all in all, I didn't like the chunkiness, the vibration, the excessive feedback on mis-hits, and most of all, they were at least 5-15 yards shorter than the Steelheads. Even if I hit it on the screws, it never felt that great. When I hit a Steelhead on the screws, it feels so much better, and the results are so much better! The X-20's seem to have established a good reputation for moderately priced clubs, but in my humble opinion, they're not even in the same league with the old Steelheads.
