I have the 8.5 degree. The stock Motore 60g stiff shaft that comes as stock equipment would be good for the average golfer that has an average tempo, as the tip section is very soft to aid in getting the ball up quickly. I have a quick tempo, so I was spraying the ball all over the place. Once I reshafted the club with a shaft that has a stiffer tip section (Aldila NV 65), it was much more accurate. Not as long as Tour Burner TP it replaced in my bag, but still gets it out there with a good swing. Once you get it tuned with the adjustable settings, you should naver have to mess with it again. Overall, the driver is pretty forgiving.

A shorter shaft tham my Taylor Made Burner makes it more difficult to swing for distance. It is also a stiff flex and senior shafts are usually kinder for me. However; I love it.
