Upgraded to G10 Upgraded from my I3+ steel shaft to G10 graphite. G10 has given me better accuracy and better trajectory with no loss of distance. August 28, 2014
Great set of Irons PING G10 irons are a very tried and true product. No surprises. Happy with performance. Irons received in excellent shape with new Lamkin grips. Very happy with both the iron set and Callaway service. Have recommended the site to friends. June 24, 2013
Easy does it. Really easy to hit irons. Not the greatest feeling clubs, but easy to hit. April 2, 2011
Made a few tweeks now love them. Bought a new set 4 years ago. My distances fell off. Ball got up but not out. Reshafted from stiff to regular. Didn't notice much difference. Secret is you can't swing too steep with these clubs as they will balloon the ball and leave you short. Now that I've learned to get more hip into my swing and sweep the ball I have my old distances back(In warm weather) Love the Tour wedges in 50,54, 58 and a spare 60 degrees. Traded out the 18 and 21 degree hybrids for the G15 17 and 20 degree hybrids. The G10's looked too much fairway woods. The G15's are not as deep and swing more like an iron. Love them. Don't need a 5 wood. I'll keep these irons for many more years but will always demo Ping first. The G5 Craz-E putter is terrific. August 3, 2012
G-10 U Wedge 50 degree MY problem with this wedge is the 50 degree loft. I shgould have waited to get a 52 degree U wedge. Since the G-10 P Wedge is 48 degrees having a 50 degree gap wedge, at least for me is near useless. There is insufficient gap is disatance froma 48 to 50 degree wedge to make any real difference and it places you in the poistion of deciding to scrap the PW for the GAP leaving you a near non decernable distance difference. good golf club For about 6-7 months I played a set of G10 irons with regular flex graphite shafts, 4-PW. For me, the club was a short hitter that had a tendency to balloon the golf ball. I think the clubs enhanced one of my basic swing flaws, so probably not a major flaw with the irons. I do know the irons have a more retro high loft, built in. I experienced difficulty chipping the G10's with graphite shafts. Had the most success with 4 iron thru 7 iron full shots. Excellent golf clubs if you struggle to get the ball in the air, or if you are younger with plenty of swing speed. High resale value is a big plus. August 28, 2015
