Rated 4 out of 5 by from Depends on the player I use the club with a senior shaft almost daily at the driving range. It's a very solid golf club, with a solid and not overly loud impact sound. This is a long distance golf club that does have a tendency to close the face down and hit a draw or go left. I hit it almost daily at the driving range and can work around it by swinging more upright or by using a weaker grip. I'm reversing my position on my last review as the information I supplied was incorrect. This club would be great for weekend warriors who struggle with slicing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from fly high, land soft I hit a friends 3 rescue hybrid, senior flex graphite shaft, at a covered driving range with range balls. On average I flew the ball about 190-200 yards, with a high ball flight and soft landing. Above average distance for an old golfer like me. I also never noticed an overt tendency for this club to hook the ball, which is something I experience in many rescue and hybrid clubs. I can't recommend this club to a weekend player that struggles with slicing and fading the ball.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from taylormade Burner Rescue Hybrids The closed face of the club cause me to hook the ball. I tried to adjust but with no success. This is not what I expected I'm ready to trade for a square face hybrid club. Unless you can give me instruction on how to stop hooking with this club. I don't hook any of my other clubs. Customer Service was great I knew the club face was closed.but I decided to get it to see if it would work for me but it doesn't. and it's not your fault. .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent feel and forgiving. These clubs equal of exceed any of the newer ones I have demo'ed. They are consistent, solid feeling, and forgiving of mishits. Excellent off of the fairway as well as through the tough.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from THE CLUB I WAS LOOKING FOR I WANTED THIS CLUB TO FILL IN, AND MATCH THE REST OF MY WOODS. IT TAKES THE PLACE OF MY 4 IRON, AND IS THE SAME MODEL AS MY DRIVER, 3 WOOD, 3 HYBRID. I HAD TO CHANGE THE GRIP WHEN I GOT IT, AND CLEAN AND POLISH THE CLUB HEAD. BUT IT CAME OUT VERY GOOD, AND THE PRICE WAS THE BEST I FOUND.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Upgrade The Taylor-Made Burner 3 Hybrid is a big step up from the (sorry about this)much older Heavenwood 3. I am getting at least another 30-40 yards out of it. I was shocked that although it has a much bigger head than the old hybrid, it worked very well in the average rough.
