Well designed. Perfectly balanced and easy to swing. Even this 5 year old design remains state of the art. Best of all Callaway Preowned understated the condition. "Average" club is FAR better than I ever expected. No marks, dings, or any wear on the face. I WILL buy from them again!

Comments about Callaway Golf X-Tour Irons:

Purchased this set in average condition but was a little worried after reading a negative review about the condition not being good when rated average. Clubs arrived quickly and I was blown away when I saw the condition of them. Definately were better than average and had new grips. Thanks Callaway! Playability wise they are definately not a beginners club but I like the feedback you get on mishit shots. this set replaced some Cobras that were a game improvement iron so I upgraded to this set and couldn't be happier.

I started playing golf about two months ago. my friend is the jr pro at a course near my house so not only do i get to play for free i get free lessons every time i go out. i was shooting 110 to 115 with the rental clubs i was using but was getting better and better every time i went out. I wanted my own clubs and my friend told me not to get these clubs because they were for better golfers. i didnt listen because i liked the look! the last two times i played at the same course i shot a 86 and a 85. if my putting was better i would be shooting in the 70s. these clubs are the best thing that could have happened to me! Every shot feels like a winner!

I can play both left and right handed. I have a full set of Xtour lefty irons. This (and future single iron purchases; 7,8,9,W) will allow me to perfect my right hand short game. I have tried a dozen different make six irons (both sides), and the 2005 Xtours are still perfect. The feel of the forged chassis can't be matched by any casting, + the face maximizes the cavity/pocket.

These clubs met all of my expectations and Callaways rating (very good) was spot-on. I had owned a set of x-tours that I regretfully had to sell. I am thrilled to be able to replace them with a quality set of pre owned clubs. [...]...couldn't be any happier with my purchase.

Standard lie usually fits those from 5'9"-6'1", so standard or one flat would be a good fit for you. If you see a set that isn't the right lie angle, we can change it for you. To place a custom order, please call our sales team at 1-800-200-4726.

                    • Q:

I am currently an 8 hdcp. I play the Hogan FTX forged irons with a FCM 6.5 Rifle shaft. I am thinking about upgrading to a Callaway forged product,to match my FT9 driver and Fusion woods, but not sure if they are any better than the Hogans that I currently play. I hit a 6 iron about 155 yards but dead straight and can work the ball either way. What iron would you suggest?

                        A:

I would suggest the X-Forged irons. They are a forged club with a thin look, and will allow you to shape the ball, while still giving you some room for mishits.
