I play once or twice a week and the fusion clubs were an upgrade to my 2002 Big Berthas. They have a great feel and have improved my distance by an average of 15 yards per club.

Comments about Callaway Golf Fusion Irons:

I was planning to upgrade to later technology from the Uniflex X-20's that I have. I tried the graphite in hopes of a little more distance, but it cost me badly in consistency. I normally shoot in low to mid 80's. Couldn't break 90 with them after trying for 8 rounds. Contacted Alex Tionloc and arranged to return them. He suggested that I try Diablo with steel shaft. I plan to demo them if I can find a site near my home. Sorry, but these clubs did not work for me.

The FT irons are the upgraded version of the Fusion irons. Both will be very similar, but the FT irons will have a slightly thinner look to them.

                        A:

A uniflex shaft has is in between a regular and stiff flex and is the most common shaft in golf. It adjusts to your swing speed so if you swing fast it will play as a stiff, and if you swing slower it plays like a regular flex. This would be a good shaft if you use a regular flex currently.

I use regular flex in my Driver, 3 Wood and 5 Wood and in my last set of irons. The Uniflex is great. It's supposed to be "firm" flex which is somewhere between regular and stiff. Frankly, they seem perfect to me.

I currently play a set of of the Fusion Irons, Graph/Firm. At first I really liked the improvement in control of these Irons. But I seem to have lost distance, 1 to 2 club lenghts shorter. I am 12 handicap. Thinking about going to a X-22. Would these clubs be comparable and could I gain some distamnce back.

You need to go to steel shafts. You are probably overswinging
due to the weight difference 127 grams for steel compared
                        to 75-85 grams for graphite.

Help! Hi I have a set of Big Bertha Fusion Irons. I mad the mistake
of flowing somebody advise and removed the back plastic inserts from
the clubs (I guess the idea was to try to get more feel of where I was
hitting the ball). Unfortunately I seem to have lost them.
Is it possible to get replacements for this?
                      Thanks for your help.

                        A:

Firm flex is equivalent to a stiff flex and a regular flex will be more flexible than the firm. The weighting is different depending on what shaft you get. For more information please call our sales department at 1-800-200-4726.

                        A:

When a lie angle is upright that means that the toe of the club will be pointed higher up than a standard club. Upright lie angles are usually for the taller player (over 6 feet). For more information on club fitting please contact our sales department at 1-800-200-4726.

All of our Callaway clubs will be certified clubs but the sale items will be listed as "certified buys". It is only distinguishing the difference between sales pricing and regular pricing.

When we refurbish clubs our objective is to make them like new again. This being said the face and chrome work will hold up as any new club would.

There is a tab right next to the iron sets that says Individual. Click on that and it will only show individual irons. There is also a tab next to it for Wedges.
