Product Overview

The standard Steelhead X-16 Irons have a shorter blade length and wider topline than the X-14 Irons, with the benefit of Callaway Golf's new "Notch" weighting. This moves weight to the perimeter for a strong, confidence-enhancing look behind the ball. Each iron has a low center of gravity for strong trajectory and great forgiveness, a cambered sole for better turf interaction, and a soft satin finish with a contrasting, sandblasted hitting area.

                These were purchased for my son and he loves them. He will be playing High School golf in the Fall and he is excited. It is great that a company like Callaway offers such great used clubs at affordable prices. The person that I ordered them from was very knowledgeable and helpful when I needed to have them cut down and inch to fit my son.I will be purchasing from them again.

                      I had been using the same set of steel shaft irons for over a decade and wanted to go to something else. Previous graphite shafts didn't feel right. A friend had a set of these and when I tried them, I loved them. One of the other members of my foursome is now trying my set.

                          Yes, we can alter the length and lie of most of our Callaway irons. It would be roughly $4 per club to alter the lie (less expensive per club the more irons you alter) and roughly $5 per club to adjust the length (also less expensive per club the more you alter).

                          Lie angle is the angle between the center of the shaft and the sole of the club. Upright means the toe of the club will be higher than standard and flat means the toe of the club will be lower than standard.

                          The approach wedge in the X-16 set will have a loft of 50 degrees and would be a perfect fit to fill the gap between your pitching and sand wedge.
