Product Overview

Big Bertha X-12 Irons feature a low center of gravity to help get the ball airborne. The variable 360-degree undercut channel creates a thinner profile and gives optimal weighting for less drag and improved performance out of the rough, plus a larger effective hitting area. The Big Bertha X-12 Irons also incorporate S2H2 and Tru-Bore technologies for forgiveness and feel.

Comments about Callaway Golf Big Bertha X-12 Irons:

Clipped a tree and broke my original 3 iron. lLocal clubmakers said they couldn't replace the shaft. Heard about this site, checked it out. [$] total for an exact match to the original, new grip too. Was in better shape, looked new, than my 3 iron. Totally satisfied with the product and site.

A uniflex shaft is in between a regular and stiff flex and is the most common shaft in golf. It adjusts to your swing speed so if you swing fast it will play as a stiff, and if you swing slower it plays like a regular flex.

The lie angle markings will be the top line of the grooves on the clubface. The numbers that are listed (ie: 1 flat, 2 flat) will be the degrees that the club lie angle was adjusted.

Lie angle is the angle between the center of the shaft and the sole of the club. Upright means the toe of the club will be higher than standard and flat means the toe of the club will be lower than standard. Standard is black, green is 1 up, white is 2 up, blue is 3 up, gold is 1 flat, red is 2 flat, yellow is 3 flat.

The X-12 irons were introduced in 1998 and are best suited for the high handicap player. They have a larger face for more forgiveness and a lower center of gravity to help get the ball in the air easier.

It depends on what condition the set is in and what condition the individual iron is in. To find the condition of a particular iron or set please call our sales department at 1-800-200-4726.
