Product Overview

The size of the clubhead and the volume of the cavity allowed Callaway Golf to push weight farther out to the edges of the clubhead. The sole was slightly modified and scultpted from the 1994 model to allow the club to pass through poor lies with less friction. This extreme perimeter-weighting and extra-wide and deep cavity back design means that the Big Bertha Iron is forgiving and friendly.

I've purchased from Calloway Used before and got what I expected: A replacement club in like-new condition that was in much better shape than the club it replaced.

Filled a noticeable void in between mid-irons and the hybrid. Also, an excellent club out of troublesome situations.
Also, looks good in the bag as completing the set.

Comments about Callaway Golf Big Bertha Irons (1996):

The clubs are great. I am new to golf and am not good. i concentrate on hitting down on the ball and have broken two clubs from swinging too hard and hitting the solid driving range matt. Probably not the clubs fault. I like the clubs alot, they feel good and very solind when i hit a good shot.

One flat means that the toe of the club will point down more than a standard set. This would fit someone who is shorter than 5'10" or so. If you would like to place an order to make the lie standard, please call our sales team at 1-800-200-4726.

The meaning of +2° on the lie angle just means that the irons have been bent 2° up from the standard lie angle.

I believe the 1996 set has the club number in the middle of the sole on a cutout, while the 1994 set has no cutout and the club number is closer to the toe of the clubhead.
