Comments about Callaway Golf X Tour Fairway Woods (2006):
This is a great club--I have a 15 degree already--but the 13 degree was too strong for me. I had a harder time hitting it off the fairway and didn't need it off the tee. It didn't make the cut because it didn't fill any gap in my bag.
Nonetheless, I'd highly recommend the X tour fairway woods, in general, and the 13 degree model, in particular, for someone with a need that I didn't have.

Comments about Callaway Golf X Tour Fairway Woods (2006):
I used to own a ping g-10 fairway wood. I have found that this fairway wood feels much more solid and easier to hit. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to get a fairway wood.

Comments about Callaway Golf X Tour Fairway Woods (2006):
Already had matching driver and loved the feel. I was not disappointed with the performance of the 3 wood. Product was exactly as described if not better and the price was better than anything I'd find at a golf store.

Comments about Callaway Golf X Tour Fairway Woods (2006):
I was hesitant to buy this becuse I thought that it would be hard to hit. The small head was quite a change from the huge X Hot 3 wood. I am glad that I took the risk. This is the first 3 wood that I have ever owned that performs the way that I want it to. I normally hit the ball very high and this thing has a great shot trajectory that just slices through the wind!

Perfect for any tee shot or shot in the fairway. Can't hit it out of the rough, but it is only a 3 wood.

Comments about Callaway Golf X Tour Fairway Woods (2006):
This is a very nice club. When hit well, the ball comes off the face with a good kick and a long relatively low trajectory. Best for players who are seeking a lower ball flight.
Good off the turf but not well suited for tee shots. The very small head and low profile face make it challenging to connect correctly with a ball on a tee.

I like the small head, easy to get the ball in the air.
