Product Overview

Based on feedback from Tour Pros, the game’s best-selling fairways woods have been re-energized. The most significant upgrade is the addition of the Modified X-Sole Design featured in X Hybrids. A slightly larger head size offers more stability and the slightly deeper face offers a larger effective hitting area.

Comments about Callaway Golf X Fairway Woods (2008):

I needed this 5 wood to fill in between my 3 Hot X and my three iron. It is great and I was very impressed with the condition of the club when I received it. Outlet condition obviously means brand new because that's what it looked like. I didn't get this club when I originally purchased the set of X18s and woods and regretted it. So glad I could find it. By the way, I am a female golfer who hits men's club, don't know if that makes a difference in my review, but I love All my clubs!

Comments about Callaway Golf X Fairway Woods (2008):

I never hit very good off the fairway, forget about a 3W for me. I started with a 5H X-series, and now just added the matching 7W X-series.
I actually like the look of the X series better than the new Callaway clubs.
Thus, working out good for me; shooting for more greens now.

Hello Mr. Fairway Fred. These are very similar. The 2008 X fairway wood would be just slightly larger...you would not notice difference. Most of the difference will be cosmetic. Let me know if there is anything else I can do for you. You can email me at ryan.pontius@callawaygolf.com.

A senior flex shaft is designed for someone with a swing speed from 70-80 mph. A regular flex shaft is designed for someone with a swing speed from 80-90 mph.
