Product Overview

X Fairway Woods offer superior turf interaction, alignment accuracy and more penetrating ball flight. With Callaway Golf's new X-Sole design, the clubhead rests on two distinct, raised areas of the sole, eliminating the tendency of the head to rock back and forth at address. That means a more consistent alignment that will help ensure your shots start off on-line. A lower leading edge allows you to hit down under the ball, especially helpful on tight lies. Internal weighting is positioned ideally in each loft, making it easy to get the ball airborne and resulting in a more ideal trajectory.

    I'm 59 years old, I've been playing golf for 46 years and these are the best clubs that I have ever hit. The ball jumps off the titanium face, flies high, long and in the right direction. I no longer have to decide which of my 26 woods to put in my golf bag from round to round. These are the best.

                Great Club. I upgraded from an old Steelhead that I loved and couldnt be happier. Very straight and easy to hit with a solid feel. It cuts through the fringe and taller grass( I seem to be there often) effortlessly and stays low and square on impact. I feel so confident anywhere on the faiway now!

                        A senior shaft is more flexible and is going to be designed for someone with a slower swing speed (80-90 mph) and stiff shaft is designed for someone with a higher swing speed (90-100 mph).

                        Both are great models. I played the 2006 for 2 years and I now play the 2008 model. As good as I'm playing the 2008 models I don't think I'm going to change my fairway woods in the next 1-2 years.
