I call my 2X Hybrid and 3X Hybrid my cheater clubs. My handicap used to be near a 12 and now it is getting close to a 7. I now reach more greens in two and also hit the longer par 3's a lot more ofter. I highly recommend these Hybrid's if you struggle hitting your long irons!

I picked up a hybrid since I've been having trouble hitting my 3 iron. Also, people tended to say they hit the hybrids farther than their irons (3H more than 3 iron, etc.), so I was hoping it would go about 230 or so (between 3 iron and 3 wood). Well, I hit this about as far as a 3 iron, not too much farther. My guess is people who are buying hybrids aren't hitting their 3 irons pure, which is why they are hitting the hybrids farther. It took a few balls on the range to get the hang of the club. I would top it every 3rd shot or so. Now, no trouble. I use it for shots out of the rough on par 5s, or tee shots for long par 3s (210/220 yds) if I'm having trouble with my 3 iron. For tee shots, I feel I have more control with the iron, but this is a nice safety net if I'm having trouble.

Prior to getting this club I was at a loss for shots requiring more than a 5-iron and less than a fairway wood. I was scared to hit my 4-iron or 3-iron. Now I have the 4-hybrid I look for opportunities to hit shots of that distance.

I've played over 20 rounds with the Callaway X's amd love them. I put away my 3,5,7,9 woods and have hit straighter and longer shots with these clubs. I wish I would have purchased them sooner. The quality for the price was great. I recommend these clubs to a friend and he bought them, and he also said he is very happy with the purchase.
