I'm sorry, but the reason I bought this 3 wood was because of the ratings here and a friend who absolutely kills his. I normally don't buy clubs I haven't hit but for the price, I thought it would be worth it.
The condition of the club is excellent but the performance is terrible. I think I have hit one solid shot and the balance have been smother hooks. The shaft says firm but it feels very whippy to me, which probably confirms the shaft deficiencies of the older Callaways.

I have two-3 Woods neither of which I would ever (ever) trade for any other similar club. Why two? Because I want to be sure to have a backup in event anything happens to one of them.

I can match the distance of my fellow golfers who use drivers off the tee. And, with better accuracy.

Another big plus is the club allows me to accurately hit cuts or fades when necessary.

Have had a VFT 3 Wood for several years and loved it and recently added the 5 and 7 woods. They are equally as good as the 3 an d now I wish I had done this earlier. Very very nice club.

These clubs are the best I have ever owned. I would not have the enjoyment nor the scoring without them. I am not good enough. With them, I can consistently play better than my ability.

After falling in love with the VFT 4 wood I had trouble locating the VFT 3 wood to match. Thanks to the pre owned outlet my set is complete.

I don't know why Calloway quit building these fairway woods. I have purchased all of their offerings for fairway woods up to the ft-i. These are by far the easiest to hit and most accurate. Also they don't look like their closed at address like all other callaway fairway woods. I will reshaft them to something a little heavier and slightly lower tourque. I have regretted selling my first set of these woods to my brother in law, since the day I did it. I'm extremely happy to have them back and I'm glad callaway has the golf preowned site to make such clubs available

The best fairway woods I have ever owned. Tried different fairway woods the last 10 years with all the new technology but none as good as the Callaway VFT. I owned them 10 years ago and never should have tried others. That is why I went to Callaway pre-owned and purchased the decade old technology of the Callaway VFT. Hitting them better than ever.
