Callaway Golf engineers set out to set a new standard in a crowded all-titanium driver market. The 460 cc Hyper X Driver provides a new benchmark in performance with the introduction of Hyperbolic Face Technology, redefining the speed at which golf balls leave the clubface. Eight years in the making, our engineers have sculpted a more robust face that dramatically increases impact efficiency for greater distance on shots hit across the entire face. The advanced Fujikura® shaft adds to the driver’s incredible feel and performance. The Tour model (designated by half-degree lofts – 8.5°, 9.5° and 10.5°) has a square face providing highly skilled golfers a more pleasing look at address and increased workability.

I have been hitting a Biggest Big Bertha for years and decided to upgrade to a 460cc driver. It added probably 10-20 yards to my drive. It is extremely easy to hit which can be a problem. The first round I played with it I found myself by the 9th hole gripping too hard and swinging way too hard with all my irons. The last few holes I started tuning it down and working on my swing and it felt a lot better. This is a great club. You just have to resist the urge to start swinging too hard. The condition of the club was great as usual. Ready for the next round!

      I'm not new to the game, but I've never taken it really serious before. I've started playing every weekend and I'm spending money on clubs, so I thought I had better get a decent driver. Well after reading reviews, I picked one up and I'm estatic, not disappointed in the least! This thing is a beast! I'm a horrible driver, hook left, hook right! Well, I'll tell you, this thing makes me look like a pro! Get one, you will not regret it! Long and straight, even in high wind situations, even on horrible mishits, it still goes.

        This driver has been perfect for me. I bought it after reading reviews that it is good for a golfer that fights a hook, and it has not disappointed. I still hook on occasion, but for the most part it is very straight, and also easy to fade when you need to. It also added 10 to 15 yards to my drives on both good hits and mishits. I nearly hit one off the end of the toe the other day and the ball still went where I was aimed.

              The Hyper X Tour is the newer model of the X460 Tour and both are very comparable in terms of playability. I have found that most people prefer the Hyper X because it is a newer club.
