Product Overview

The FT-i Tour Low Center of Gravity (LCG) Driver was developed with feedback straight from the tour and produces a trajectory preferred by more accomplished players. With the combination of Fusion Technology and the revolutionary 460 cc Complete Inertial Design the FT-i Driver has discretionary weight positioned lower and in the extreme corners, producing the highest moment of inertia (MOI) of any Callaway Golf Driver. The low center of gravity helps reduce spin and generates a more penetrating ball flight for longer and straighter drives.

    This is a wonderful asset to any golfers bag who is seeking a penetrating ball off the tee. Be careful as to "who" uses this driver, you have to have your swing together for this one. If you have a swing speed of around 120, this thing is deadly!

      I just bought this club to replace another. I tried out the Burner, Diablo, and the R9. This club coupled with a stiff Y-650 shaft gives me more distance and accuracy than the other 3. The sweet spot is large, it is very forgiving on mis-hits too. I highly recommend this Driver to players of all levels.

      I own this driver with a stack Matrix XCON 6 and I own this driver with a Diamana Whiteboard. Both drivers deliver extreme forgiveness without sacrificing distance. I also own an FT-iQ tour (Fubuki). I am longer with both of my FT-i tlcg than I am with the -Q tour.

      I've hit the two longest drives of my life this year. I hit more fairways than ever this year.

      I LOVE the Matrix shaft in it. How often can you get a stock mid-kick shaft this good!!!

      I just wish the face was open a full degree.

      I would recommend this club to anyone who wants longer, straighter drives. I know that sounds like a driver advertisment, but it is true. For me, it is very long, and very straight --- a combination that is hard to beat. There is a loud noise on impact, but it does not bother me at all.

                  The Low CG is the Tour model of the FT-i and it helps reduce spin off the driver and helps keep the ball flight lower than the FT-i driver.
