Comments about Callaway Golf FT-3 Drivers:

I purchased this club as a quick replacement for a driver I sold. The club has a solid feel and sound, but just average distance. You won't get that "wow the ball just jumps of the face" feeling with this driver. However, it seems to be a very accurate club. The 9 degree with the NV-65 stiff shaft is a great setup for accuracy, but the "just average" distance this driver produces will make me look elsewhere for another driver.

Comments about Callaway Golf FT-3 Drivers:

I purchased my driver in Average condition. The club face, shaft, grip were all in excellent condition. The bottom of the driver showed some wear with some of the carbon fiber (or whatever the black material is) was showing through the finish - does not seem to affect performance as I love hitting this club and have been driving straighter and further.

Comments about Callaway Golf FT-3 Drivers:

Have played three rounds with the F-3 driver--1st round was lukewarm, 2nd things felt better--3rd round, hit some very good tee-balls to start the round and got more confident and started hitting it quite well--Draw model, and I seem to hit some big power fades(go figure)to straight--longer than my old Ping G2 by 15 to 20 yds. "Average" condition was close to new, and came with a new grip. I'm happy, well worth the $$ spent.

Took a round to get use to; but is performing well now--Strange, I get a nice power fade w/ the draw model, maybe its correcting my occasional slice. Don't mind the sound, its solid to me. Well worth the $$ spent. The "average" condition was very good!

Comments about Callaway Golf FT-3 Drivers:

Recently switched from a Cob.. Speed 460 to an FT-3.
The Ft-3 is longer by an easy 15-20 yards but not as forgiving as the Cob...
Even tho' mine is a Draw cnfig., you can still 'work' the ball as needed - a good fade or nice straight down the middle is easy. The 10* hits higher than I'd like - going to the 9* with stiff flex shaft should make it perfect for me, an older retiree with a semi-decent swing.
I would certainly recommend this driver. And I have always respected and used Callaway clubs. You can't go wrong with a Callaway.

                          A:

Average clubs have been used but not abused. They will show normal wear from frequent play and may have natural scratches, pop up marks and/or bag wear on the shaft. These are great clubs for those looking for performance and value and are less concerned about cosmetics.

                          A:

The only difference in the heads is that the tour heads come in half degree lofts with a .5 degree open face and the regular FT-3 heads come in full degree lofts with a 1 degree closed face.

I was given a Callaway Fusion FT-3 Draw driver with a Graphite W-60 Tour AD shaft. Would you please tell me why it is a Draw (it does not have a hooked face), and what the W-60 Tour AD means?

                        1 answer

                        • CUSTOMER CARE

                          A:

The draw means that the club has a draw bias. This means that there is more weight on the heel of the club which will help promote or draw or help fix a slice. The W-60 Tour AD is a 60 gram shaft with mid torque and a mid kick point.

what does the fade symbol mean on the club head

                        • CUSTOMER CARE

                          A:

The Fusion driver heads are produced in two separate pieces which enables our engineers to strategically place more weight on the inside of the clubhead towards the heel or the toe. A "Fade" set-up means that more weight was placed towards the toe of the club to promote a fade, or to reduce a draw.
