I had just about given up using a driver completely, until I decided to give this one a try. I'm sure glad I did. It's much more forgiving than any other driver I've ever used. I'm hitting the ball farther with much more accuracy. I let my father take a swing with it and now both my parents have one. They love them

I am very pleased with my purchase. This C4 was my first oversized driver and I found it very easy to hit. I was unsure about the materials used for the shaft and club head but I was hitting drives longer and straighter than I ever have, right out of the box!

I love the sound it makes at contact!

The C4 could be one of the most misunderstood drivers Callaway ever produced. I have used this driver for three years and it has produced outstanding results. I am a very strong swinger and hit the ball very far but my issues were accuracy and keeping the ball in play. In this regard the C4 has been amazing! Despite what others have written about this club, I find that I can swing aggressively and keep the ball on the short grass. Distance is excellent, but not astounding.

That said, my C4 has a Callaway Pro X-Stiff shaft which may be the key element. I don't see these shaft options very often on the web site, so your mileage may vary.

If you're a strong swinger and just want a club to keep the ball in play, try this one.

If you swing hard this club is not for you. There is no shaft that will catch it up. The clubhead is just too fast.

It took me about a month to learn to swing the club but after that it has been nothing less than sheer joy. I learned how to play golf on an old set of MacGregor blades and a couple Persimmon headed woods. The second I hit the ball with my C4 i loved the sound. It sounded very similar to the wooden driver I was using before. I still play it to this day and still hit 300 yard + drives with it pretty consistently. I love this club and am looking for another because something broke on the inside...... Now I have a rattle....
Anyways, it is the bext driver I have ever hit.

Took it to the range and was immediately displeased. The club is very light and puts no energy behind the ball. I currently use a VFT Pro Series with 8.5 loft. It was like night and day. I am going to upgrade to a Tour X460. I dont like oversized heads. Its cheating. LOL.

The C4 driver seems to be a love it or hate it driver. I have owned two of them and I think it's a decent driver, but it does have some issues. The lightweight shaft has broken on one of my C4's and I reshafted it with a more robust shaft and have had no problems. It's not the most forgiving driver in the world, but when I hit the sweetspot, it's as long as any driver I've ever used. Overall, I like the C4 driver and would recommend it to others at current prices.
